Remarks

Admission was nice I have scored more so I got a seat easily in the cse branch. the college is pretty good and the campus is also good. overall college is nice. now I will say that placement is also good I think you can apply to this college

I chose this course because I wanted this course means I want to choose this course student ratio is 58 in one class and we have 6 sections all teachers have phd. degree term exam happen in 6-month as in every college it happens

I have not to get internship yet but my seniors get that they got 2 to 3 internship in this college you have to do many projects and to clarify tasks for better palcement.you can participate in hackathon so that you have good CTC in 4th year

Palcement is good but not very good as 100% is in my college but from 1st semester you have to get good marks for better placement in this college highest package is 24 lac and average package is 5 lac no. of comapnies visited ia more than 100.

I have not placed yet there are too many scholarships given in this college. Some are like Odisha scholarship, some are college scholarship and there are too many scholarships given here overall college is good but not very good

Campus Life

there are too many clubs in my college like singing, swimming, robotics, cultural and many more teher are also many groups in instagram which have regular post and you can go there and see it you can also partivipate there and enjoy yoir college life

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility is good and the room is like 5-star hotel and you get all benefits on the basis how you pay for and definitely you pay it because you want to get a better life mess facility is also good you get all type of food there and also many more items to eat

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
