Both of the institutions are situated at a distance of 80 km from each other. IET Lucknow is situated in the industrial capital of Uttar Pradesh and the HBTI Kanpur is situated in the Political capital. If you live in one of the two cities, you can choose accordingly; otherwise, this factor has no significance. According to AKTU, both the institutes are ranked at number 1 and number 2 in UP, but the situation is completely different analytically. HBTI is a well-known institution and has been the parent institute of IIT Kanpur and Uttar Pradesh Textile Institute. Both the institutes are government-run with complete control over examinations and the curriculum of courses offered by them. If you enjoy programming, Computer Science would be the appropriate course for you, while Mechanical Engineering is for those who want to acquire a genuine sense of what engineering is all about. Student Life in HBTU(mother institute of IIT KANPUR)

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual fees of hbtu Kanpur is 135000/annum (tution fees including all other types of fees such as caution fees,insurance etc) and the hostel fee cost for 63000 per year for all categories of a student such as SC ST general OBC & there is no concession in fees based on category,the fee is relatively high as compared to other government college However there are some scholarship available for the student with poor economic condition that can be availed such as UP scholarship giving 50000 to general/obc and 90000 to SC/ST approx and a student can also apply through a national scholarship portal and other private scholarship which they are eligible for.

The exam checking system is also the worst.

The fees for 1st year is 135000 and after that for all other years is 127500. The tuition fees is 75000, registration fees is 30500 and all other courses which are also included in the charges. there is also TFW which is 67500 something.

My journey in HBTU

First you know Hbtu is good college in terms of private college. Its a state based government college so the fees is not to much high as compare to private college generally. The fees is 1,30,000 in first year and in second year it decrease slightly but not more than 20,000 if you choose hostel then you have to pay 60,000 this includes hostel charge with mess charge or many more. In second year you only pay 1,20,000 for you college fees with including of all tution fees lab fees etc all charges cover under this hsotel charges are same for first year upto final year. This college provide to much help in getting unscholship obviously it is a state College so they priortise their students. The category mostly of my batchmate is majorly ate general and obc are little bit lesser than general and and last one sc which are few only. But this colleage provide you all the things that you want in your career life building.

Hostel and mess combined fees is 63000 for each year.From 60000, 10000 is for registration, examination and certification ,30500 for facilities,3000 for medical fees, 4000 for training and placement,3000 for activity, caution charge 5000, 1500university alumni fund ,1500 student aid fund ,1500 miscellaneous charges. Here, is tuition fees waiver (TFW) facility for only 5%studends in which the studen who are selected for TFW get 75000 tuition fees relaxation.

The overall academic fee of the college in the first year of the course is 1,35,000 and can change based upon the university's decisions and the hostel fee including the mess fee is 61,000. Things i liked in this college is exam conducting bodies and curriculum and very important senior junior connection where senior help juniors in most helpful way.

The fees policy in this college is good as for the last 5 to 6 years they have fixed tuition fees. The complete cost of the btech course is around 6.5 lakhs which is great. Government scholarships worth 50 to 60 thousand help students struggling with paying fees. They also have a concept of fee waivers that is the top 3 students of every branch will be restricted from paying tuition fees.

The fee is stable. Your academic fee will be 1,35,000 including your all fee of sports, gymnasium, exmanination fee, and every other fee excluding your hostel and mess fee. The hostel fee you have to pay is 25000 and mess fee of 36000 annually.

Good for student whose rank is not too good, chemical, mechanical in HBTU

No increament in tution fees. For first year it is ~136500 and for 2nd, 3rd, 4th it is 127500 for each year. total cost= 136500+4*127500 hostlel and mess=~60000 Scholarship for General is 54400+56600+56600+(did not recieve)

In the first year of my college, the fees is Rs. 135000/- and in this 75000 for tution fee and 60000 for additional charges for college. after first year onward i've to pay Rs. 127500/- unitil 4th year. and every year we have chance of getting UP Scholarship for the UP GOV. the college has the facility to embended this.

Exploring HBTU

It is little expensive as compare to other government college. In first year, we need to pay a fee of 1,35,000 rupees. In this we pay 75000 rupees as a tuition fee and the remaining money for various college charges. From the second year onward, we pay a fee of 1,27,500 rupees. We get UP Scholarship around 56500 to 96400 according to category. At the time admission some student is selected as a Tuition fee Waiver from every branch according to there JEE Mains rank.
