HBTU B.Tech {Lateral} Electronics Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Candidates holding a three-year engineering diploma in a relevant branch with a minimum of 60 percent marks, or 55 percent for reserved categories, are eligible. They join directly in the second year of the four-year B.Tech programme through the JEECUP lateral-entry counselling process, completing the degree in three remaining years rather than four. Diploma holders from electronics, electrical and instrumentation streams are the most common applicants, though other allied branches also qualify under the state lateral-entry norms.
