SBSSU Ph.D. Biotechnology Fees
The Ph.D. (Biotechnology) programme at SBSSU has a revised fee structure effective from the 2026-27 session. The semester fee is Rs. 25,000 per semester for up to 6 years from the date of enrolment. In addition, a one-time enrolment fee of Rs. 2,000, a research proposal registration fee of Rs. 20,000, and a thesis submission fee of Rs. 15,000 are applicable. The minimum total fee (for 3 years / 6 semesters) is approximately Rs. 1,93,000. Internal SBSSU candidates receive a 50% fee relaxation on all components.

- Internal candidates of SBSSU, Gurdaspur receive a 50% relaxation on all types of fees mentioned above.
- Hostel fees are charged separately and are optional.
- The entrance test fee is Rs. 2,000, payable online at the time of application.
- Fee structure is subject to revision by the university.
- Teaching assistantship is provided to eligible Ph.D. scholars as per university rules.
