  • Brunel University London has only one campus, and that is in Uxbridge. It is a pretty big campus compared to other universities. It has all facilities such as cafes, restaurants, student kitchen, library, medical store, student centre, student living, pub, party venue, religious spaces, green spaces, gym, sports fields and arenas, societies, and a plethora of events happening every week.

  • I lived on campus during the whole course. I had an ensuite room in the postgraduate halls. There were 9 more similar rooms in my flat, 1 more flat on the same floor. A total of 3-4 floors in each hall building. We had one common kitchen in every flat that was shared between 10 renters. There was daily garbage cleanup and weekly kitchen and hallway cleanup. Any issues regarding the kitchen or rooms could be put in online requests through their portal for a person to come and resolve.
  • There is 1 laundry room for every 2-4 halls. Laundry takes almost 2 hours, so I think that is pretty convenient. I would recommend experiencing living both on and off campus to give you different perspectives so that you can make informed decisions based on your individual preferences. My hall was 10 minutes away from the building in which my classes were scheduled. Most Indian students stay in either on-campus or off-campus accommodation, depending on their preferences as well as budgets.

  • Diversity of different students created many events and cultural exchange events were happening constantly around the campus. The campus was dedicated to keeping people engaged in different activities and events based on ethnic groups.
  • All events were organized by bachelor students of the same campus. It was fun in general to wander around the campus and find out about the many activities to do around the campus.

  • I found accommodation using Spareroom app and was staying with 3 more people from different countries in a shared house. Monthly rent for the box room was 500 pounds with a common bathroom and kitchen area. It was easy for me to secure accommodation.
  • My accommodation from the university was one bus, hardly 3 km. Indian students stay in college accommodation, which was expensive for my budget. And i wanted to live outside for better exposure.

  • My college had 1 big campus situated in Uxbridge. It is at the outskirts of London. My college was known for its amazing and huge campus. It had a cafeteria, a huge library, a great number of restaurants as well and obviously some large lecture halls.
  • The gym was another popular spot amongst the students and an open ground where students played cricket and football was another popular spot.
  • The college also had a good sized garden right in the middle of the campus where the majority of the events took place. All In all the campus and the facilities that they had was really amazing.

  • I stayed in an off campus accommodation. I found this through online search. There are various websites that pops up when you just Google search for an accommodation near the university.
  • It was definitely time consuming as I visited many houses before finalising one. It was definitely a challenging aspect. But in the end I did find quite a suitable home. The first accommodation that I stayed in was like a 3 minutes walk from the college campus and I paid 450£ monthly rent.
  • It was a great place and i had no complains, but after attending few months of the university I made some friends and found d out they had a spare room in their house so I later moved in with them where my rent increased to 500£ and now it was 3 bus stops away which again is not that far and I was living with nice company.
  • This goes to show that it is fairly easy to find a good accommodation as you meet lots of student who are in the same boat as you so you can just make new connections and find a place to live together which eases your time in a strange country.

Campus life was fun and exciting because of the flatmates. The infrastructure was decent, although expensive.

Rents are nearly the same when you hire student accommodation or rent from a third party. The benefits of student accommodation are when they are within walking distance from your classes as sometimes, due to strikes, travelling becomes a challenge. It helps you connect with other students who are not from your course.

I lived on campus in an ensuite room. The complex was clean. There was private bathroom facility attached to a private bathroom. The flat has a single community kitchen shared by 10 students. There are options available for student according to their budget. The shared rooms has shared bathroom facility which has low room rates.

Course Curriculum & Exam Structure is relevant, research-driven and fair based on the current scenarios. And we are talking about non-other colleges but the topmost College in London. We can't doubt the college on relevance, research drive basis. Many events take place here whether it be technical or cultural. Every event makes us learn something new and great. i myself participate in many events and have won many prizes up till now which helps me to improve my cv. Like almost every college runs according to its syllabus so this college has a fully updated syllabus and also enough industrial exposure is provided to us which makes us capable to sit for placement in many big companies.

I opted for hostel facilities. The hostel is very good and well designed. The rooms are cleaned on daily basis and bathrooms are also cleaned on daily basis. The wardens are very professional but very cooperative the hostel issue is solved very quickly. Hotel facilities are decent. You will get furniture, almirah, book-shelf in the room. Besides, you will get a washing machine, geyser in bathrooms. Hostels have nice gym, badminton court, and many table tennis tables. Mess food is decent, especially the breakfast.

I live off campus. The average cost for one person would be around 500GBP including personal and rental expenses.

It has a very good ranking in my course. The university has a good ranking in the subjects I have chosen.

The campus life is amazing- we have a very huge campus, with various accommodation buildings, cafes, restaurants, 2-night clubs, a very big library, tennis courts, gyms, a grocery store, and a track field. There is always something or the other to do on campus.

Students have the option of living on-campus or off-campus. There are different types of accommodation options for students - there are single rooms with shared bathrooms and kitchens, ensuite rooms with shared kitchens only. There is a studio flat option as well for cohabiting couples. There are laundry facilities for each building. Flat prices range from GBP 150/week to GBP 200/week. A deposit of GBP 300 needs to be paid for single and en suite flats and a deposit of GBP 400 needs to be paid for studio flats.
