What Students Say
Likes
- 1) my course is available only in selected universities and Brunel is one of them 2) Brunel is cheaper than other London universities 3) they have good ranking globally in research field.
- The most likable aspects are it's multi-cultural environment , good library, clean campus . I suggest every new student should stay on campus. Staying on campus is the best part of my student life.
Dislikes
- Firstly, Faculty members and professors (especially for health science course)are not available sometimes .You can't approach them directly. You need permissions through email which might be ignored. Secondly, even after COVID they conduct online classes for a full time course.
The university experience has been good overall, but what they lack is clarity and uniformity. There is difference in opinion among teachers which is disadvantage for students. The supervisor are not readily available when you need them. Most of the staff works online. The campus life was good. Library service was excellent. Staying in On campus accommodation was a great experience. Overall satisfactory.
Course Curriculum
No there was no practical experience provided to us. Which was unfortunate.
Faculty
Faculty members are good in numbers, but not easily approachable. They have hands on experience in evidence based theoretical research. I wish my course could provide some practical experience as well.
Campus Life
Campus life was best. I have participated in many events. The Library is the best part of the university campus. WiFi has incredible network strength. Many sports activities and society events happens every other day.
Placement
It is tough for extensive course like mine. I am still searching for job that matches my skills and expertise.
Accommodation
I lived on campus in an ensuite room. The complex was clean. There was private bathroom facility attached to a private bathroom. The flat has a single community kitchen shared by 10 students. There are options available for student according to their budget. The shared rooms has shared bathroom facility which has low room rates.
Exams
It's an advanced course that needs clinical experience post bachelor in physiotherapy, then they require English language certificate. Yes, statement of purpose and updated resume was needed. I have provided both with my work experience.
Fees
? 20,00,000 and around ?10,00,000 for accommodation.
