  • The difficulty level of the course was fine for someone who has worked before and graduated before because it was designed that way, it was created in a way that taught lessons an experienced professional can relate to and apply in the future.
  • It was 90% practical and only 10% theory. It had presentations, field trips, and so on to teach us various aspects of business in numerous ways.
  • The most positive aspect was group work and collaboration, as it personally helped me a lot. It taught most of us to be in a group and learn group work, which is the most important thing in working in a professional setupas well. The most negative aspect was its lack of placement opportunities; we all paid a huge amount to be there and I, at least, expected a few companies showing up and the college/course helping us in cracking those placements, but that didn't happen.
  • The whole day was divided into 2 parts and one class was conducted by one professor in a day.
    • The typical timings were from 9 to 6.
    • There were 70 students total.
    • There were 55 Indian students.

Fees

  • Total tuition fees - 32500 pounds
  • Scholarship - 8500 pounds
  • Net tuition fees - 24000 pounds
  • Hostel fees (only accommodation) - 12000 pounds
  • (They gave all the above options. I chose to pay upfront right after admission. So I paid a total of 24000+12000 pounds before joining upfront.
  • Rent - mentioned above (I lived in the campus hostel, which was 12000 pounds for 12 months, so 1000 pounds monthly.)
  • Transportation - Used buses to transport in and around the city. 3.5 pounds for 1 round trip. Roughly 90 pounds a month.
  • Food/Grocery - We had shared kitchens, hence shared groceries. So less than 100 pounds a month.

  • Difficulty initially was high as it was very different from the country i come from but the process was so smooth and teachers were so helpful that it was easy pretty much mix of both, especially dissertation project and proposals
  • Most positive would be the depth of course and negativity would be less practical knowledge
  • The classes can vary week to week; they can be less than an hour or maybe a full day like 9-6
  • 100-120 is the class strength
  • 8 Indian students were there.

Fees

  • My fees were 31500 pounds for tuition. I got a scholarship of 5000 pounds, so fees were 26500 after that. Accommodation was 10000 pounds (approx. 8500-10000 depedns on the type of accommodation and whether it was on campus or off campus.
  • Yearly, Apart from rent as it goes in quarters my expenses were around 250-300 it can go as low as 150 or as high as you want depending on the students; into alike there are more expenses because you are setting a room so blanket pillows wardrobe stuff a kot of things are supposed to be taken care off

  • Difficulty - Medium (easy for Indian students). It was more practical and grounded knowledge and lectures.
  • Positive aspect - the out-of-the-box teaching (including field trips and international trips)
  • Negative aspect - ethnicity ratio was extremely poor.
  • They teach one course at a time. Timings are from 9 to 5 or sometimes 6. (There is no gap in the middle). This happens during the first 3 months of the course and then this is mellowed down.
  • 70 students, 55 Indian students (approx.)

Fees

  • Tuition fees—26000 pounds.
  • (Total = 34500 pounds
  • Scholarship = 8500 pounds
  • Net = 26000 pounds)
  • Hostel fees - 600 pounds per month. (5400 pounds for 9 months - Oct to June)
  • No other fees; everything else was included.
  • You can choose any option. I took an early option and paid the whole amount up front, but on request, semester-wise fees are also acceptable.
  • Rent is basically hostel fees: 600 pounds per month.
  • Transportation = This is cheap, as you can use the bus for basic transportation, as this is a small town. Around 70-80 pounds (Totally subjective).
  • Food/grocery - Min 100 - 120 pounds per month.

  • The program wasn't very difficult; it was a mix of examination modules and assignments depending on what module you chose. There was a basic-level exam early on to warm up all the students to the same level on the basics, which was really good. My program started with classes every everyday and then gradually reduced as the dissertation started. My program had about 75 students, of whom 40-50% were Indians.

Fees

  • My tuition cost around 26,500 GBP before the scholarship; that said, the costs have now been increased. I was given a 3-term option to pay it. Housing cost (inclusive of all bills) around 500 pounds per month. I used a private agency to secure my place. Other expenses like food travel and miscellaneous costs were about 300-400 per month. I did take a travel pass for buses and trains, which was very helpful.

  • The course is mostly based on practical learning. The positive aspects are the teaching and the experiences they curated for us. The negative points would be the management of the course, as it would get quite hectic during some times of the year.
  • Typically there are about 2 classes in a day with an hour-lunch. Each class is 3 hours long, with smaller breaks in between. This usually happens on 2/5 days in a week. The other days are for other activities and assignments.
  • Average number of students: 55. Indians enrolled: 35 approximately

Fees

  • Breakdown of Fees:
    • Tuition is £36,000 for the whole year.
    • Scholarship £12000, which will be deducted from your total, so net tuition was about £24,000
    • Accomodation £8500 (£170/week x 50 weeks)
  • All fees are charges per-term. There are 3 terms in total, so expect the total to be served 1/3 portions in all terms.
  • Monthly Expense (excluding accommodation): £250 average/month.

  • The competition is fierce and the companies are not willing to sponsor visas. If you have a PSW, you are most likely to secure a job in 6 months, but getting your employer to sponsor you is a bigger challenge.
  • The average salary that students land is around 35k pounds. There are various job portals and recruiting agents that help you find jobs.

  • Curriculum wasn't that tough, it had mix of both theory and practical

  • It provided a good intro, even if a person doesn't know how to code or write the right papers, it kinda develops those abilities.

  • Negative being had modules that weren't necessary instead i Would have liked it more if there were more cyber defense module

  • I had both 2 hours of theory and 2 hours of labs, anyone could come in and go out at any part of those classes

  • Around 45 students in a class.

Fees

  • Fee details keep getting updated every year, so please check the university portal for  the fee structure, There are no indirect charges present.
  • Uni accommodation is optional in the UK, people can stay outside. I had taken a superior ensuite room which included all facilities other than the food for which the weekly rent was 177 pounds.
  • 150- 200 pounds per month excluding the weekly rent

  • Difficulty of course curriculum may differ based on the course. My course had a bit of difficulty as we had much to learn and coursework based on that. The coursework had both theoretical work and practical work too. As in the coursework the code need to be submitted and along with that a report also needs to be submitted as well.
  • Classes may vary for each day and the usual timing are all between 9 - 5.
  • Average students varied between 60 people.

Fees

  • Fees for Tuition - 24500 GBP
Accommodation - 410 GBP per month
  • The fees are charged based on the semester wise period. It was collected on three terms.
  • Monthly expenses may vary based on our spending.
  • Other expenses such as transportation, groceries and such may come up to 50 - 60 GBP per month. and this is a very conservative estimate. It may go up to 80 - 90 GBP also based on the location and other factors.
