- The university is very huge. The facilities are so nice and helpful. There are many app opportunity even internship opportunity in Europe provided by the university.
Dislikes
- There is a bit difficulty in placement.
Campus Life
- It was huge …the extracurricular activities are almost every day, and there are some days. Even though it was 4 to 5 in a day. The library is open…24 seven sports. Faculty and everything are so up-to-date and expert.
Accommodation
- I haven’t taken any on-campus accommodation. I found a house outside. It was much cheaper than the on-campus accommodation.
Likes
- I liked the Dundee city itself as I preferred quite and countryside and my uni was in center of the city which made everything accessible
- The university had vast experience and opportunities to students May it be in funds , job opportunities, mental health awareness , DUSA activities etc
- The supervisors and professors were super good and helpful
Dislikes
- I WISH THEY HAD BETTER ORGANISED BUILDINGS . AS WE HAD TO SERACH FOR EACH BLOCK FOR A SPECIFIC CLASS . And also I wished they had religious temples which we most needed at times . I also think it would be helpful if they could reduce the Uni accommodation rent a tiny bit .
Campus Life
- They have around 7 campuses. As for the locations, I don't remember exactly but where I stayed it was right beside the main campus of Dundee, which is the school of business. And they also had a campus at the city centre, which was quite far, around a 10 mins walk .
- There were 3 libraries and were huge and very accessible. And also sports facilities were quite good, as football was famous in Scotland.
- They celebrated a lot of fests and also club events took place once in a month regularly; sometimes it used to go up to a week dull of events during Christmas
Accommodation
- On-campus accommodation.
- They had different units for different courses and were pretty spacious and had a communal kitchen area where we could meet other flatmates and communicate and celebrate birthdays and such.
- There were 6 rooms for one flat where I stayed. I would still recommend choosing University accommodation as it is super safe and also all the amenities come with the contract price. I stayed in uni accommodation so it was just 2 minutes away from the main building.

Likes
- University of Dundee has a very good campus and has very well equipped library, friendly and helpful professors.
- They also offer good modules.
- University of Dundee is closely associated with nine wells hospital which is very good advantage for students studying life sciences and medicine.
Dislikes
- Dundee is a very quiet city, finding opportunities after graduation is quite challenging.
- University doesn’t help in finding internships
Campus Life
- My course was quite challenging; modules included both assignments and projects, which are supposed to be submitted on time. This was quite challenging.
- The modules are interesting; this is the positive part, the negative part is we didn’t have enough time to finish our assignments , due to less time, we panicked and could not do well with our assignments.
- We used to have 3 to 4 classes in a day. Easy class was about 1 hr.
- There were 40 students in my class. There were 25 Indian students in my class.
Accommodation
- I found accommodation through apps like SpareRoom and Glassdoor.
- I used to pay 400 pounds, which excludes the electricity and water bills.
- Finding accommodations is very difficult due to the number of students coming to study.
- Yes, I suggest students search for accommodation through apps, or if they have any friends or family members living there, they can take their help.
- My accommodation was only 15 minutes walking distance to the university.

Likes
- The teachers and the courses, and the way they teach is excellent.
Dislikes
- Covid happened and I did not get much chance to explore.
Campus Life
- Only one campus, but it was huge because of the variety of courses. A beautiful and huge library and a lot of sports areas, gym, swimming pool and whatnot. Medical was the best and easiest to access.
- A student helping union was my favourite place, which helps all students to get things such as part-time jobs, accommodations, and fun events dates. If you have any passion, such as music, drama, dance or other, you can be a part of any community.
Accommodation
University helped me a lot, they have a list of trusted people which provides accommodation. I got more than 100 contact numbers from there but apart from that there are a lot of other websites such as downfieldproperty and Gumtree.
Likes
- The location where the university is situated is very good here, I can find lush green mountains, beaches and a great view.
- The university has a big spread campus where all the facilities are available.
- The University of Dundee is one of the top universities in the UK and this year (2024) it is awarded as the best university in Scotland.
Dislikes
- There is nothing as such that I dislike about the college, its just that the university is spread and have a very big campus so as an International student it is very hard to find classes and where are the classes going on and there is lot of walking
Campus Life
- University of Dundee’s campus is wide with 2-3 campuses and different schools. There are many societies, halls, seminar halls, parks, hospitals, and accommodations. We have a beach and river bank near our campus and a museum. Across the campus, you can travel and explore different things by choosing public transportation or by foot.
Accommodation
- My accommodation is off campus, it's a very good student accommodation named Lyon Street Terrace. The monthly rent is about 139 pounds and the facilities are well organized. Here is a large backyard where students can chill and have a get-together, also accommodation people organise small parties as well. I highly recommend this accommodation to future students Rooms are well and spacious.

Accommodation
I had a private rented apartment since the hostels were too small to stay in . That was cheaper than hostel price but more headache . I enjoyed my private accomodation and was near my hospital
This is the rank 1 school of medicine in UK . And then it is quite ans student friendly
Accommodation
It is better to live off the university campus as university accommodation can be expensive for many people. There are lots of rental properties around Dundee that are affordable, which you can try and see before booking.
The University of Dundee is one of the top universities to learn Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, etc due to its multi-million-pound facilities and supportive and encouraging faculty. Dundee is also the sunniest city in Scotland, so if you spend enough time outside you won't be running short of that precious Vitamin D.
Accommodation
I preferred external housing which was not as expensive as the university. The average cost of outdoor housing for a single room was $300 per month.
The University of Dundee was ranked among the top 250 universities in the world and the post-scholarship academic tuition fee is approximately 12 lakhs.
