- University of Dundee has a very good campus and has very well equipped library, friendly and helpful professors.
- They also offer good modules.
- University of Dundee is closely associated with nine wells hospital which is very good advantage for students studying life sciences and medicine.

- Dundee is a very quiet city, finding opportunities after graduation is quite challenging.

Course Curriculum
- My course was quite challenging; modules included both assignments and projects which are supposed to be submitted on time. This was quite challenging.
- The modules are interesting; this is the positive part, the negative part is we didn’t have enough time to finish our assignments , due to less time, we panicked and could not do well with our assignments.
- We used to have 3 to 4 classes in a day. Easy class was about 1 hr.
- There were 40 students in my class. There were 25 Indian students in my class.
Admission Experience
- I applied for both Queen marry university London and university of Dundee
- I got accepted at both the universities.
- No, there are no other universities I applied to.
- I didn’t get rejection from other universities because I applied only for queen marry and Dundee university, I got accepted from both the universities; in that, I chose Dundee uni.
- I chose Dundee uni because of the university ranking and modules they were offering, and the campus. I usually prefer quiet places. For students who are looking for a quiet place to study, Dundee uni is a great choice.
- I applied online with sop and lor and other documents, once it’s accepted I received CAS.
- 6.5 is the eligibility criteria to get accepted. It was smooth and easy.
Faculty
- The relation between student and faculty is very good; due to this, our doubts used to get cleared.
- Faculties used to use both projector and board to teach. Yes, it was sufficient to secure a job
- Yeah, faculties do help students to find internships but not all faculties do this; this is a drawback, if all the faculties helped us to find job , it would have been easy for us to secure jobs.
Campus Life

Part Time Jobs
- It’s very rare that students secure job as TA, RAs or DAs.
- Usually TA, RA, or DAs get a salary of about 26000 pounds per annum
- Students can work in the cafeteria and stores present on campus and can also join student associations. Dundee uni has a student association called DUSA, which is very good for international students. Students get pay range 10 to 12 pounds per hour
- The maximum hours of work allowed for a student is 20 hours a week. Students should not exceed 20 hours
- It’s quite difficult because of competition in between students to secure a job.
- Students earn around 12 to 14 pounds per hour; it depends on what type of part-time job they are doing. 2. It’s quite difficult because of the competition present between students. 3. Students can apply for jobs through indeed or contact the student association; if there’s any opportunity, they will let students know. If applicable, if selected, they call for an interview and do the remaining procedure.
Placement
- Securing a job in 6 months has become very difficult for students who graduate. Job market has become very low. So only 1 graduate out of 10 graduates will secure a job in 6 months.
- Students will apply through company websites, contacting agency or approaching employees in LinkedIn
- Dundee university doesn’t have a placement option; students should search for jobs on their own.
- There are many companies like GE, Medtronic, Siemens healthineers etc.
Accommodation
- I found accommodation through apps like SpareRoom and Glassdoor.
- I used to pay 400 pounds, which excludes the electricity and water bills.
- Finding accommodations is very difficult due to the number of students coming to study.
- Yes, I suggest students search for accommodation through apps, or if they have any friends or family members living there, they can take their help.
- My accommodation was only 15 minutes walking distance to the university.
Exams
- Dundee uni accepts IELTS, TOEFL, PTE
- Documents like SOP, LOR, and CV are very important. One should provide all these documents while applying.
- Yeah, they conducted an interview and asked questions about my UG , the modules I studied, and basic questions about the modules that are being offered by Dundee uni. They also test our English language, like how compatible we are with the English language.
Fees
- Total fees was 27000 pounds; I paid 22000 pounds, because university provided a 5000 pounds scholarship and 12000 pounds as living expenses
- Students can pay fees, monthly, yearly or half-yearly; this is very helpful for students who paying on their own
- 1000 pounds, including rent, travelling and groceries. But expenses depend on the person; sometimes expenses go up to 1500 pounds.
Scholarship
- Yes, I received a 5000 pounds scholarship.
- I received 5000 pounds. There’s no particular name for the scholarship; the university provides this scholarship for the students who got good grades in their bachelor’s.
- Yes, many of my classmates received a 5000 pounds scholarship, that’s deducted from the total fees.
- Every 15 people of 20 students received the scholarship.
