What Students Say
Likes
- Loved the campus, the extra curricular activities.
- Different clubs to participate in. Opportunities are endless.
- There’s always something going on. Love the infrastructure.
Dislikes
- Disliked the career placement (UK is tricky!). In particularly my course had a skewed culture.
- Most were Asians. However overall the college has very diverse cultures.
- The faculty did have mixed accents. Also no group tasks were given so didnt get chance to mingle with others.
Course Curriculum
- The course was ahead of its time. No research experience, but there was industrial exposure. Timings differ everyday but mostly you are done by evening. Days Mon-Friday. Approx 70-80 students in a class.
Admission Experience
- Of course, the college ranking was the deciding factor. I got lucky to be selected. I don’t remember the admission process since it's been 8 years now. I was a finance person, so my course selection was easy.
- I had IELTS 8.5. I don’t remember taking the rest of the tests since I went for my master's.
Faculty
- The faculty were very experienced. Very good. However, a bit accented (Italian-ish), hence sometimes you do get a bit confused. But overall, they were very helpful and supportive.
Campus Life
- It was amazing. Best library. Best campus. Best infrastructure. Honestly, it keeps you in awe.
Part Time Jobs
- Part-time was difficult cause our college hours varied every day. At the max, you can work as a barista or in a store with convenient hours. Back then, we were allowed 20 hours a week. Campus part-time is tough for master's students.
Placement
- No idea since I came back after my master's degree.
Accommodation
- I stayed at Woodlane Studios Gradpad. I don’t remember the rent.
Exams
- Only IELTS was enough for my course. Other than that, SOP, LOR, CV, undergrad certifications with a good CGPA, and school marksheets were also important.
Fees
- Back then, it was 33,000 pounds.
