Colleges Where I Was Accepted

Reason for choosing my college

The course provided in the Oxford Brookes was unique and it lined up well with my career goals. Hence, choosing this particular university was the top priority over the other selected universities.

Colleges Where I Was Rejected

Reason for Rejection

I faced the issue of not fulfilling all the criteria of one college. The college insisted on applying for the course in Automotive engineering, but it ultimately failed. The second college was unresponsive after a few interactions with them, which led us to withdraw from that college as well.

Faculty

  • The Faculty-student ratio is usually 16:1. The faculties are extremely approachable via either face-to-face sessions or Google Meet.
  • For me, Dr. Stephan Samuel and Dr. Nabil Yassine have been quite approachable and helpful with my studies and projects.
  • The faculties are more than happy to reference and recommend the students to the companies and industries as well.

Campus Life

9

  • There are four different campuses of the University, Headington being the main one.
  • There are lots of facilities across the campuses, namely a library, sports ground, gym, cafeterias, study places, labs, test beds, etc.
  • My campus used to be Wheatley Campus, but for the new semester, we were shifted to the Headington campus.
  • There are a lot of festivals and celebrations done across the year, and various national clubs also exist, making the university quite multi-cultural. The university also hosts a number of events that the students enjoy throughout the year.
