Scope after Masters in Clinical Psychology in UK

One of the most important things to note is that mere completion of a masters in clinical psychology does not qualify you for clinical practice in the UK. For a career as an independent practicing clinical psychologist, you will need to have a minimum of three years of a doctorate in clinical psychology which is HCPC (Health Care Professionals Council) approved.

However, this does not mean that you cannot work at all. With a master's degree, you can apply for assisting roles like assistant psychologists or work under a practicing clinical psychologist.
