- Course modules- different from other university courses and emphasis on practical simulations.
- Campus- secluded campus with a lot of nature
- Location in a small town
Dislikes
- Career services- it might be a general thing in all the universities in the UK but there wasn’t much support when it came to career help apart from CV
- Course modules- the course could have been more intense rather than being relaxed and could have financial modules as strategy is finance based but there wasn’t a single module on finance.
- Part-time opportunities- Since it’s a small town, you could struggle with part time as less opportunities
Placement
- I have no clue but it’s particularly harder for international students. I know people who have taken a year also 2 years to land a role. My advice would be to not consider the UK as companies don’t want international candidates.
- Around 28000 pounds
- Applying on job portals as the university doesn’t help with any companies. You have to look on your own and use the necessary means.
- In the UK, there aren’t any companies visiting your campus. Everyone has to apply on their own.
- I stayed on campus, so I never really struggled for accommodation.
- I paid around $ 760 monthly for an en-suite on campus.
- Since my admission process was on time and I looked to stay on campus, I really didn’t struggle with campus accommodation. It was convenient as I wanted an all girls flat and an en-suite so I got whatever I needed.
- I can advice based on someone's needs and budget. Campus is definitely pricier and if someone is looking to work part-time, then it’s better to stay off campus as it would be cheaper and closer to work. It also depends on one’s course and if they have many classes. Since my course was relaxed, staying off campus also wouldn’t have made a difference.
- It was a mix. Some Indians stayed on campus and some off campus

Placement
The University does not guarantee any job placements, however, a lot of support was provided for creating job profiles and a lot of companies visited our campus where we were able to introduce ourselves and explore opportunities within those companies. Multiple job fairs were organised and individuals from within the company were invited to talk about their roles and the company. I also received a lot of help from the placement office with my resume building and interviewing process.
The admission process was fairly simple and I was required to submit all of my mark sheets and other professional documents along with a statement of purpose for applying and pursuing the program as well as two recommendation letters from people who have either supervised me or taught me. I also had to provide an IELTS score which was just to check my reception and study readiness in the English language, a band of 7 and above is an acceptable score. I received an offer letter along with a departmental scholarship and the whole process took 2 - to 3 months from end to end. Chopras consulting helped me with the admission process and they were very helpful and guided me through the entire process.
