Remarks

The parking facilities are next to null. We've to park the vehicles far from our course buildings. Also, there is no proper shed for vehicles during rain. The college seems to be small in terms of parking areas. My positive remark would include exposure to industry and encouragement of practical applications of concepts learnt in classroom.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is industry based. It has a specialisation in Data Warehouse and Business Analytics by IBM (International Business Machine). The exam structure is as follows: there are 3 CIEs (Continuous Internal Examination) and 1 ESE (End Semester Exam) for each subject except the Audit and Elective courses.

Placement Experience

4

Recently the seniors had given the campus placements, the companies that had come for accepting the students were good and known. The average package of the seniors is around 5-6 lacs per annum. The college provides internship through various industries like Unity, C4I4 and other universities like NTU, Singapore and Hof University, Germany. The opportunities are good, but the cost seems more for the general students.

College Events

3.5

The colleges celebrates two events every year, one for the freshers and one in the middle of the year. The fresher event is called Aarambh, this event is organised by the second year students every year and the freshers are encouraged to participate. In Vishwayaan, the later event, students from all the years participate and perform on stage along with teachers. It is like a gathering of all students in the university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is neither expensive nor feasible. It is 2 - 2.5 lacs per annum. The college accepts half of the amount during the first semester of a year and the later is asked during the initiation of second semester of that year. The fees can be paid using cheque, demand drafts and online banking.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've not applied for any loan for joining this college. Moreover, I am not aware of any scholarship provided by the college. They haven't announced of any scholarships provided by them yet. I don't think there are any scholarships in the near future.

Campus Life

2

There are various clubs in the college, some include Robotics Club (Atom Robotics Club), Cultural Club (Etcetera), Photography Club. The sport events happen just before the Vishwayaan fest so that the prize distribution can be done during the fest. The sports include cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and basket ball. The labs are well prepared and has good network connection for those related to the IT field. Other labs are well maintained and the lab activities are performed weekly to encourage using concepts learnt in classroom in real life problems.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college began in the year 2017. We are the first batch. However there are a few diploma students, senior to us. We have worked together in a few projects. They are very talented students and encourage us to work on various projects. They also don't mind to help us in our doubts and provide motivation through the projects.

Admission

A friend referred me this college. Earlier we visited the college, they checked the marks of MH-CET and JEE for eligibility. We paid 25% of the semester fees to confirm a seat in the given course. On the first day, they conducted an induction to introduce the course and how the college is going to conduct the course including the course structure and curriculum.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is average. Some faculties encourage you to work more on practical applications of whatever we learn throughout the course, others tend to teach only by moving through slides and dictating the textbook paragraphs. It is a balanced see-saw of the good and the bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
