TKIET Warananagar college review

The college is good in the academic performance and sports. Also the facilities like gym and swimming are provided in campus. The hostel for both boys and girls is available in campus. The problem is only the connectivity with metro cities.

My option was mechanical engineering. The exam structure is of semester type. Students give 100 marks paper for each subject and also 25 marks for termwork. There is also external oral exam for 3 subjects in each semester.

The placement of the college are good. Many companies visit the college for the campus drives. Prominent recruiters for the Mechanical department are Galaxy Surfactants, Kay Bouvet Satara, TCS, Wipro, Praj Industries and many more. The college provide internship assistance. I was place in Wipro with 3.5 LPA package.

The college celebrates various technical and non technical events every year. The national level events like Eureka paper presentation competition, JIDNYASA project competition and industrial problem solver and Speeder are held every year. Cultural events like traditional day and annual function are also conducted every year.

The fee structure is feasible. All government scholarship are available. The college is located in rural area and hence less expensive. The college fees can be paid in installments. The cost of year is nearly 50000 after reimbursement of scholarship.

College offers all government scholarships. I had received TFWS scholarship. The government reimburse half of the tution fees. All there is alumni scholarship for needy students. The college provide full assistance for the scholarship processing.

The college is equipped with almost all needed lab instruments and facilities. The students are individually allowed to perform all experiments on all instruments. There are well experienced lab instructors for all labs.

The college has the record of all the pass out students from the college since establishment of college ie from 1983. The alumni meet is held every year which helps the students understand the development in different fields. The alumnis help the students by guiding them for their career.

I registered myself on the DTE Maharashtra site. The CAP rounds were held for the admission process of different colleges. The DTE considered the 12th percentage and JEE marks to prepare the state rank list. We had to give the option list of the college we are interested to take admission. The college was assigned according to the state merit list. Students had to report the respective college to confirm the admission within 5 days of the initiation of the list.

The faculty of college are experienced and well qualified. They give their best for the betterment of students. All the syllabus is completed on time. The students are free to ask the doubts anytime. The teachers are available for the students in the college hours. The students are also guided for the extra curricular activities.
