College of engineering and management, kolaghat

This college is par my expectations, the hostel life alone is so good. the campus is pretty, plus the infrastructure is good. we have very fine teachers, seniors are good. labs and other employees are helpful here. what should one wish more on total, this is a really good place to spend your 4 years to pursue b.tech.

Course is affliated to AICTE, and falls under the rules of MAKAUT , west bengal. there are internal exams as well as external exam by University. also they conduct regular tests to analyse your learning abilities

placement on an average is around 70%. thought it changes branch to branch. it infact holds average placement of around 4 lpa. CSE boasts of 99% placement, where as the next branches may have around 70%.

we celebrate almost every national festival. plus we have our annual cultural fest, tech fest and annual sports meet. the tech fest resonancex will celebrate it's 10th year this time. bots, robot fights and lot of things are here.

it's feasible. it's supported by govt so the fees is comparably low. the total fees for 4 years including hostel will cost you around 5 lacs, and also, if you score good. you can have scholarships provided.

we have Vivekananda scholarship if you have scored above 75% in boards. also other college scholarships are there to meritorious students which waive tution fees to an extent. There are banks here which will give education loan too.

We have big football ground, dedicated gymnasium, basketball court. the campus is good. labs are big and well equiped. we have lot's of events to enrich the student's soft skills. overall the labs, and extracurricular segment is good. pretty good.

hostel is good, internet is very fast here. mess food is tasty , healthy and good. proper care is taken to provide a healthy diet overall. bathrooms are nice, it's in my opinion better than other hostels i have seen.

we have a well connected alumni group, seniors are friendly. they give sound advice, you can ask them your doubts. they explain it selflessly. there is also an annual alumnus meet. college seniors see to it that no student feels odd here.

I appeared in Wbjee 2019. Went for the councilling pricess and was allotted this college according to rank in wbjee. also we have some decentralised councilling if any seats are free. you will just have to report to college with necessary docs.

faculty is good, educated. most of them have featured in major publications internationally. they teach well, communication skills are very good. they are helpful, start from the root and are resourceful.
