Remarks
The positives The location and the infrastructure is good the the architecture college meets the expectations of the students at the first look Negatives It's pretty far away from the main city it's tiring to travel to the college and back
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college is under the regulations of cusat the course curriculum is pretty neat and tight with design classes as well as civil subjects. In every semester we will have an external jury coming over to examine the design works and the curriculum is pretty much tight
Placement Experience
Actually in the field of architecture everything depends on how a student move not any college in my knowledge provide job opportunities, if we have that skill in finding jobs with good portfolios of ourselves we will be surely be able to pursue good jobs or work as indviduals, it the skills that matters in this field. In the curriculum we have a 6 month internship to be done but we should find it ourselves, making portfolios of our student works and getting into good and experienced architects, the stipend I get is 6000 and it varies with the firms (rs 0-rs20000)
College Events
Every year workshops are conducted as well as all the festivals are celebrated, arts and sports day is also conducted in the college. We were also been able tongonto other colleges for their work shops. A unique event named prodex is also hosted by the college
Fee Structure And Facilities
Architectural studies are quite expensive for a merit seat it is 1 lakh per year and for a management seat it is 2 lkahs approximately for an year As well as there will be a lot of other expenses for buying a load of stationeries, case studies etc
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed scholarship or loan facilities but the college has provision for scholarships for low income groups and other backward caste students which I seem is better fonrthr student ls to come and study
Campus Life
We have a good football and cricket team as well as an small athletic team Extra curriculum activities like wallpaintings model making are encouraged in the college The labs are self sufficient to fill the needs of the students and there are equipments for site wrks such as surveys
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is low and I wouldnt suggest to stay in the hostel as far as I know We will get better staying facilities nearby the college itself and it is also cheap compared to the college hostela
Alumni/Alumna
Yes of course everyone is in touch and supportive The first batch had just been passed out and we all are like a family Everyone of us in the college knows each other very well and the bond between everyone is one of the postives
