Entrance Preview

KEAM (Kerala entrance examination), 494 score, The college was near from my home the college is famous in our area, Many campus placement were came in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is 2 batch for eee in this college the college offering as well facility is lab and workshop, the management is very strict the college has a very good Goodwill the students also very good.

Placement Experience

Many company like Microsoft, google, flipkart, TCS, Mahindra rice, HCL, Infosis, Federal bank, etc. have given placement for students in this colleges.

College Events

The college will celebrate many events like sports, arts, tech fest etc in the college many peoples from different colleges were came here to participate in the tech fest many students came here to see the tech fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For five years i must spend around seven lakh as my total fees inculudent my transport cost study material cost, I am going to college from my home so i can manage in the price of food and accommodation.

Yes in our college the provide scholar ship of around two crores.

95% the hostel has room another building is under construction food is very good room is big it has plenty of space.

They are very friendly to us we don't have any problem with them.

The exam is under surveillance of camera, They are very strict chance of malpractice is surely zero.

Faculty

It is also very excellent our HOD professor paul antony is a very good person there is around 100 staffs in eee department the lab has almost all type of equipment.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. As I was applied for 2engineering colleges and 1 arts and science college. The name of the engineering colleges is 1)viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam(Ernakulam) 2)Rajagiri school of engineering and technology (Ernakulam). And third arts and science college name is Amritha vidhya college (Ernakulam). I didn't get any rejections from these colleges but compared to these three colleges I chose viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam Ernakulam because there I got my admission according to my JEE score and for less management fees.
