"Indore Institute Of Science and Technology in Brief"

Currently I am in first year and we are studying basically all the subjects but teachers do try to relate the concepts with AI-ML. At certain points, things do deviate towards a lot of memorization but i can tell from my own experience that if you are the one who knows how to connect the dots and how to find patterns, then it won't be that tough to get through this memorization part.

Currently I am focusing on skill development with the help of SIG's and workshops so I have not personally looked into the available internships opportunities. But I am very much satisfied with the level of improvement that is reflecting in my skills

Since i am in 1st year only, so there is a long way before placements but right from the very beginning we are given exposure to technical world through hackathons and Skill Improvement Groups (SIG) are there to help us out in the process of cracking placements in future.

I (general category) will be paying 58,060 for the course and 65,000 for hostel yearly. In the course fees, 55060 is tution fees and 3000 is caution money. Out of the 65,000 of the hostel fees, 10000 has to be deposited before admission in order to book the room.

Our annual fest "DAZZLE" happens during March-April where famour singers and performers are invited and i am yet to experience it. Our clubs do conduct a variety of events such as workshops and competitions and they are a lot of fun. I myself have participated in these competitions. Our Techfest which i was a part of was thrilling, we had so many competitions going on side by side and the enhtusiasm of our seniours and faculty members was amazing.

I am living in the college hostel. Here we are given 3-seater rooms and it is difficult to get room here since there i a lot demand so advance booking has to be done. We are provided with basic requirements such as bed, chair, table and almirah. Everything else we have to bring. Mess provides food 4 times a day - breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner. Meal quality is good and special items are prepared on several occassions.

This college believes on working on students rather than lavish display of their infrastructure and facilities and I believe this is the most important thing i.e to help students to become a better individual not only professionally but also as a person in a society. They not only follows the curriculam but also put extra efforts to develop our personality and provide us with so many opportunities. It is also affordable for the majority of students.

Our college is affiliated by RGPV, Bhopal. We have 2 mid semester tests (MST )before the semester exam (including both written exam and external viva). The internal marks are given on the basis of these MST's and innovative assignments assigned by the teachers.

We have gym which has particular timings for girls i.e 5 to 6 p.m and boys can use it anytime. Our library opens at 10 a.m and students can use it for studying and group discussions for projects till 8 p.m. Our college has 2 slots, one specifically for 1st year that is from 8 a.m to 2:40 p.m and the other for 2nd,3rd and 4th years i.e from 10:30 a.m to 4:40 p.m. Hostel entry is closed at 9 p.m and we must leave the hostel in the morning for classes at the given timings. We have sports facilities that hostelers can use in the evening. We have a vast lush green ground for slow evening walks. It's surrounded by so much of greenery which gives a lot of positivity.
