Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. There are 8 semesters and each have 6 or 5 subjects. There is an yearout system that disallow the students for passing years. In 2nd yr it is compalsary to acquire 26 credits and 4rd year it is 52.

Placement Experience

Yes, placements are provided correctly by the institution at regular intervals. Several top leading companies are approaching the college for the placement execution. In the past year 30 students got placed.

College Events

Onam programs, Ifthar programs, Christmas program, College day program, Ethnic day program, Techfest, Food fest etc. All programs are well coordinated items that enjoyable to students and other non teaching members.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For merit students btech it is 35000 per year. For management quota students it is 50000 per year. For NRI quota students it is 75000 per year. It is affordable. Because all facilities are given correctly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, lot of scholarships are available in the college under Categories and also the students who have secondary school mark higher they give scholarships and fees reductions. It is available for all.

Campus Life

Lot of extra curricular activities are done in this college. Sports weaks are conducted in a month that includes athletes and games Cricket nets, football ground, badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court are available labs are excellent.

Hostel Facilities

Infrastructure of the hostel is fantastic. Good for the purpose of accommodation and food. 6 floored building with all base facilities. It is good vibe area. Enough faculties are their for controlling the studemts.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, amazing, they are well helping minded people. That encourages the juniors and well communicated peoples. There ia no ragging in the college. Ragging free camous is there. Good networks are therere between students.

Admission

Admission is done through keam allotment under merit list. Gone through several process 1st allotment 2nd allotment etc. First paid fees of rs.10000 to emthrance comminsioner. Then the process starts.

Faculty

Faculties are good. They are well knowledged people's. Who are actively encourages the students for their academical excellence. They are the backbone of the institution. They conduct several activities inside the campus.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Life at vedavyasa

The admission process in my college was purely based on merit. The government has allotted me a seat in electrical and electronics engineering at Vedavyasa Institute of Technology. The cutoff for the seat was around two hundred-something marks in the entrance exam overall The eligibility for the course was a pass plus two science and a valid entrance exam score. One can find the application form, application fees, and dates from the government site. Since my allocation to this college was purely based on merit, I can't say that the college website contains all these. Since I come from a lower caste, I availed the OBC benefit.
