Galgotias University positives less than negatives

I have opted Btech in defence technology. I chose this course because I wanted to continue into DRDO. It prepares me well as there are courses which are not available to other branches of btech las well . One of them is data science. The relevance of my courses help in real world applications in different areas

I paid 1,49,000 for my course of btech in defence technology in communication system and sensors and . Tution fees is 1,47,000 and 2000 is exam fees. I think it's affordable but the placement providability of the college is bad . Unless you are preparing for a competitive exam like GATE , there is no scope for an average student in respect of placement.I did get a lot of exposure in the 5 months I have been here but the environment of the university is cheap. Majority of the crowd lacks civic sense.

There are many events in this college including garba night, diwali fest, freshers , chrishtmas event and. There are various hackathons held at various times of the year . In the new ai block library , you can find books of a wide range whether it be biotechnology or other relevant topics in the library. They have built GSCALE CLassrooms with smart boards and good technology. There are many clubs which support sports and other extracurricular activities . There are clubs which offer help to the NGOs as well

I initially wanted B.Arch but due to bad family conditions couldn't afford it and chose to go for BTech instead. I also applied at Delhi University and even got accepted but the degree I got was B.Sc which has zero scope so with no other options I had to apply at galgotias University. The admission process is simple . You fill an application form online . Submit your details and if you get an offer letter , you have to show up at the admission block for your admission . Then there will be a course registration day where you register your courses which is followed by orientation

The student to faculty ratio in different fields is Law-20:1 Management -18:1 Engineering -18:1. The faculty I like is Dr. Vikas Tyagi My c programming professor.i like him because his examples are practical and lets us apply codes practically.the faculty I dislike is Dr. Anubhav Kumar . He teaches data science and I dislike him because he's rude In a semester there are two exams midterm exams and endterm exams . Endterms decide whether you have a back in a course The course curriculum is very accurate.

Since there is no modernization around the college and there's only forest surrounding it, the college has bounded with many hostel chains such as ezstays. They provide hostels in a well civilised area which is safe and providing. There are many cafe's around the hostel . Good medical services. The university has a cafeteria for hangout. The hostel timings are -7:00a.m-8:00p.m. There is a gym providance within the hostel and libraries as well and areas for different sports
