Remarks

In positive remarks I will mention that the biggest positive point is ragging free campus. seniors are supportive. A good campus and certain numbers of cafeterias and a good library is available here.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are various type of courses in this university. such as agriculture, dairy, engineering, home science etc. The exam is conducted semestervise. where you have to obtain 50% of marks to pass the particular subjects.

Placement Experience

companies come here and hire students at a average package. nearly about 12-23000 per month. Don't expect more than it. And about internship, in various programs you need to have summer training which is compulsory for every student.

College Events

There are various events which are celebrated in this college. such as fairwell party, sports day, teachers vs students matches and some other fests according to their departments. you need to pay for it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As in some courses it is expensive and in other it is normal. For my course which is B.Sc biotechnology which is a 4 years program because it is a honor's degree they charge around 40000 ? per semester.

You can always apply for education loans and scholarship is also available for poor students and for the good students. various banks are available at the time of counseling to provide education loans.

In extracurricular activities there are various events and fields where you can participate. fir example you can go for photography and there is also NSS (national service scheme) and various talent search competitions.

Alumni/Alumna

as I have mentioned before that it is a ragging free campus. trust me you will never hear a single case of ragging. Seniors are very supportive and alumni meet is organised at a fix year of gap. A friendly environment is available here.

Admission

First appeared for entrance test organised by university itself. and after that based on your rank you are eligible for various courses available in university. Then there is a counselling for the rank holders there according to there rank seats are filled.

Faculty

Some of the faculties are well qualified. they focus on students and try to teach you very well. They are supportive in nature and always ready to help students. the main benifit is that it's campus is ragging free campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Galgotia College applied for and we got a confirmed admission form but we choose a because SHUATS is more affordable piece and compared to other private universities versus of a reasonable tuition fees.
