All About the Campus Life

The Professors and the Law library were the two specific aspects that encouraged me to choose this college for my curriculum as the college has a permanent staff in Law faculty specially which gives the students a stability and dpsce to groe and nurture. The curriculum is such that it exposes students to various kinds of places, makes them understand their future goals, gives them a clear yet optional path. The timings of the college is something again of a very specific kind, professors are vey punctual and there has never been a day where students are unnecessarily stuck in the college because of any delayed fault on the faculty or college's part. The timings are usually from 9 AM to 3 PM, which is very comfortable and doable for students living far away and travelling a long distance fro their respective homes to the college.

The Internship opportunities provided by the college are i would say a very fair deal, as it is accurate for the exposure of students, in first or second year the internships are usually unpaid, but in the final years the campus offers paid internships with consecutive job offers depending upon the performance of the candidate. The company sends invites and according to the RSVP'S the candidates are selected for an online interview round and then after the completion of online internship, they are offered an in-office internship.

In BA. LL.B. especially students are elidgible from 5th year i.e. 9TH semester for college placements, the college has a 99 % placement rate which is very impressive and students are given a vast number of choices among the companies. The companies which recruit are usually top tier like Mahindra, Wipro etc. The highest ever package in our college is 50 LPA. I am planning to do corporate law after the completion of my degree for which the college also has a corporate resource department.

I paid a total of 1 Lakhs 30 thousand for my first year, usually the fee for my course BA.LLB. goes for around 6-7 Lakhs but there are several scolarships for students belonging to different percentile's, the classification goes by - 70% - 90% in 12th. This fee is inclusive of everything and the scolarships vary by the percentage given. Financial aid and large concessions are available for the students in merit cum need.

Campus life here is never a dull moment as many enriching fests and all kinds of festivals are celebrated here in campus. The main ones like diwali, dussehra, holi, christmas are extravagantly and joyfully celebrated in the campus. The students as well as all faculty members celebrate together like a union. There are 3 libraries in total in the college one for law one for bca and one for everyone, the best one is law because the selection of books there is vast, the libraries have 2 sections , one for the prople to read and a tech section where people c an also use computers, pc's etc to do their work. There are varied clubs made for the progress of students and to ensure that they are not only learning academically but morally too.

Frankly, i applied to many other private institutions but they were either far away from the place, or the fee was way too much and unreasonable, in many of them the teachers were very tight and the environment was not safe for girls. While the other reason was the rigorous admission process , whereas in my college it was very easy interview based regardless of the background or subject choices of the students, the place is very secure and the questions are asked based on the subjects taken by the student in 11th. The interviewers are very soft and kind and hold abundance of knowledge about their specific fields. Honestly i wasn't rejected in any of the colleges i applied to but i did not go on with the procedure of choosing them because of the distance and crowd

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good and the professors are available for students 24/7. they are very cordial and understanding in nature, the teachers are very reliable and participate in student activities as well as tend to encourage students. In my opinion Law faculty is the best because i am well versed with them and they need the most encouragement and pressure, and given the long timeline of the course, all the students tend rto spend more time with the law faculty, There are no such unlikable faculties as everyone functions pretty smoothly and much coperatively with the students. In my 5 year B.A. LL.B. couse i have to give two semester exams in a year i.e one exam each semester, there are no internal examinations for law students until they are in their 4th year of LL.B. The ecams are pretty easy and normally come from the previous years question papers.

The Campus interview does not require a GD round but rather it has Personal interviews, which is not so difficult for people who are meritorious, the interview has a wide range of questions and are divided in two parts academic and mental to check the students durability about things happening around him and state of mind. Preparation for the interview is a very easy task and does not require any special learning as the questions asked in it are usually from your subjects in 11th and 12th plus the general knowledge. After these rounds, students are selected and can discuss about the scolarships accordingly.

The Nightlife around campus can be known better by the students living in the college hostel but by far what i have heard it is amazing, as the campus has many facilities for students to engage in such as gym, libraries, sports sections, tennis ground, cricket ground etc and a vast mess and cafeterias. Hostel timings are usually till 6 PM and college timings are 5 PM. One of the very popular hangout place in the college is the canteen and especially the ground in front of it. The ground is very vast divided into sections for numerous sports which is i feel personally very good.
