"What's it's really like studying in LD College Of Engineering x

The official curriculum is about 5 months and its not that compact. For this curriculum it includes mid and submissions at the end one thing I didn't like about curriculum or wanna bring change in the curriculum is monthly exams which will keep you connected to your subjects and at the end you'll be prepared with the syllabus. By this curriculum if you wanna focus on outer curriculum activity it is possible at the starting as it doesn't have any load of submission and mid exams on the side. The frequency of exam is medium as at the starting there are no official exams but at the end it becomes hard to cover and mostly it is easy level exams depending on the preparation you have done

Our college is well known for its tremendous placement in every branch. But especially in core branches like chemical and mechanical there are 90 to 95% placements and the average package it provides is 5/6 lakh per annum while higest packages ranges from 12/15 lakh per annum in companies like GNFC, Adani, Reliance etc...

Right now, I am in 2nd year and my fees structure is as followed : Admission fees: 0 (rupees) Tuition fees : 1500 (rupees) Miscellaneous fees : 870 (rupees) Exam fees :870 (rupees) Scholarship available for general students full filling income and other criteria are : 1- Mysy (mukhiya mantri yuva swalamban yojna) - IN this you'll get 17000 rupees in first year and after renewal you'll get 12000 every year for remaining 3 years 2 - Digital Gujrat - in this you can apply for PM YASHASVI scholarship for which you can get 10,000 rupees per year for 4 years and if you have food bill you'll also get scholarship for that . It also includes scholarships for sc/st. And obc students along with sebc students 3 - food bill scholarship - If you have food bill and you full fill the criteria for this scholarship you'll get 1500 per month of rupees of 10 months every year 4 - cmss scholarship - you can apply for this scholarship along with mysy and it is merit based scholarhip if you'll be in merit list you'll get 50,000 or 50% of college fees Also there are other scholarship for sc/st and obc students based on their criteria

Many annual festivals like tech fest, coding composition, sports compitition named Impulse takes place annually. Many clubs are there which are indulge in socio - culture activities. Our college provides you with NCC which is very famous association at national level. Many clubs perform orientation and activities but due to lack of infrastructure they didn't get that much support .

I choose this college over other colleges due to its fame and faculties. Yess lack of infrastructure was the problem but it's best goverment engineering college with minimum fees so you can afford it. It was my first choice and I got admission form acpc merit list and exams you need to score is gujcet and boards , you can also get admission through jee main scores. At my time the cut off was around acpc rank 8000 amd mostly it is under 9000/10000

Each subject if its pratical or theory based it includes more than one or two faculty members , sometimes pratical based subject includes three faculty per subject and theory base subject are taken by one faculty only . While descriptive subject like universal human rights or Ipdc are taken by any faculty of the department . The best faculty in our department is pratik sir who is scholar from IIT and provides you with very deep understanding while right now in current semester my favourite professor is ronak patel sir who takes numerical method in chemical engineering subject and his teaching is very excellent and he also provides you very simple and clear understandings of the problem. Right now every faculty are doing their profession with the best in them so no complains for any. The main problem everyone face is covering the syllabus in given academic timings. Most of the time syllabus remain incomplete due to holidays and mass bunks so this is serious problem and atlast you need to cover syllabus by self study So the exam criteria is like, There are 3 main exams 1 st - mid exams which are at mid time of the semester 2 nd - submissions and internal viva 3 rd - Gtu exam which are at end of the semester With the complition of this exams. The semester is over. Mostly the fail students criteria is 10/15 % of total students. This exams are not that hard if you study well

There is very much excellent life around college . You can enjoy hangout around college as it is surrounded by food places, you have garden at nearby while if you need to study you have very huge library in the campus that contains very vast collection of books. It is very much safe to roam around college campus as it is in main city place.
