Course Curriculum Overview
One of the main reasons I chose this course was the curriculum design, which included subjects that were both foundational and industry-relevant. Topics that gave me confidence that the program would not just focus on theory but also touch practical aspects needed in the professional world. In terms of preparation for real-world applications, the curriculum does a fair job. Many assignments and projects are structured to encourage independent research, teamwork, and presentation skills, which are crucial for both job roles and higher studies. However, the curriculum could benefit from more hands-on training, industry visits, or workshops that bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical exposure. The teaching methods are generally effective, but sometimes they rely too heavily on traditional lectures. Adding case studies, live projects, or interactive sessions would make learning more engaging and relevant. Also, integrating the latest tools and technologies in the syllabus would help students stay updated with industry demands. Exams are usually held twice in a semester as internals, followed by final exams. The frequency feels appropriate, though the difficulty level ranges from moderate to slightly challenging. With proper preparation, most students can clear them without much stress.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year, 6th semester students are eligible for placements. TCS, Infosys, TATA, THub. Highest is 12 LPA, average is 6 LPA, Lowest is 3LPA. 55%+ are getting placemnets. I would be going for masters in abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fee I paid is 114500 rupees. The tuition fee is 85000 rupees. Bus fee is 26,000 rupees for my area. And CRT fee is 3500. Other bachmates pay more than me as their bus fee is higher than mine.
Campus Life
The annual day was held recently, and other fests are women's day as it is a women's college. Technical fest called stanfest, except that freshers, flash mobs and traditional days are held. Mostly academic required books are all there, along with GATES and other journals as well in the library. Sports hour is there. College participates against other colleges. Yes, there are 4 clubs that is robotic club, DataScience club, kalakruthi club and Agentic AI club
Admission
I applied for Keshav Memorial College od Engineering and I got ECE seat over there but I wanted some other course to do like the trending AI and DS. Then in the special round I applied for Stanley college for Computer Engineering(CME) and I got it as it is very near to me which would be time saving
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio in our college is fairly good, which allows teachers to give personal attention when required. Most of the faculties are approachable and willing to clarify doubts, both inside and outside the classroom. They maintain a professional yet friendly relationship with students, which makes learning smoother and less stressful. Among the faculties. Their teaching style is clear, interactive, and they often use real-life examples that make difficult topics easy to understand. They are supportive and encourage students to participate in discussions, which boosts confidence. These teachers are definitely among the best in the college On, orher hand there are few faculties like whose lectures feel rushed or less engaging. Sometimes, they do not provide enough clarity, which makes it harder for students to follow. However, this is more about teaching style than knowledge, as all faculties are well-qualified. Examinations are conducted systematically, usually two internals per semester along with the final exams. The difficulty level is moderate—neither too easy nor overly tough. Only a small percentage of students fail, mostly due to lack of preparation. Overall, the course curriculum is relevant and keeps pace with industry needs.
Night Life
The gym is available over a permission from higher authority. Cafeteria is average. I don't take hostel facility, hence, I have no idea . Inside college is canteen and outside college is public gardens.
