Course Curriculum Overview
The B.Tech curriculum at my college is designed by RGPV and is quite comprehensive, covering both core subjects and practical labs. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the strong foundation it provides in branches like CSE, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil, along with opportunities for project work and internships. The syllabus includes programming, engineering fundamentals, and applied subjects which help in developing problem-solving skills.
Internships Opportunities
My college provides students with multiple internship opportunities through on-campus drives, industry collaborations, and tie-ups with reputed organizations. These internships help students gain practical exposure, industry knowledge, and hands-on project experience. Additionally, students also apply for internships on their own through various platforms to enhance their skills and professional growth
Placement Experience
In our college, students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. Many reputed companies, including Jaro Education, IBM, Capgemini, and several others, have visited the campus and offered placements to students. The highest package has been 12 LPA, while the average package is around 4–5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my college the yearly free for the Btech course is 23950 .At the time of admission student also pay a one-time caution money 6000 which in completely refundable after the completioon of 4 years.Apart from this ,the exam fee is paid seprately every semester .the sturucture is the same across different branches like CSE,EE,ME,CE. the tuttion fee,devlopment fee ,registrationfeeand lab fee are included in yearly amount ,so student do not have to worry about extra hidden charges
Campus Life
Campus life at UIT RGPV is vibrant with annual cultural and technical fests, a well-stocked library, smart classrooms, sports facilities, and active student clubs that make both academics and social life engaging
Hostel Facilities
In my hostel, there are two students in one room, including me and my roommate. Each student is provided with a separate bed, table, chair, and cupboard along with a ceiling fan. The hostel mess menu changes daily, offering morning breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner at night
Admission
I could not get admission in reputed national-level colleges like NITs and IIITs because my JEE Main rank was not high enough to secure a seat there. In addition, I also missed some opportunities due to minor technical mistakes during counselling and the way I filled my seat preferences
Faculty
i personally liked the faculty of computer science and electrical departments as they explain concept with real life examples and are supportive during lab sessions the best teachers are the ones who encourage us to take part in coding contests,minor projects,and extra-curricular technical activities
Night Life
The campus nightlife is calm and safe. The main gate closes for students at 8:00 PM, and dinner is served in the mess from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. After dinner, students can take a walk inside the campus or participate in sports activities
