Likes
- Well a budget friendly college and that's the viral part as that makes it accessible to study law from a private college even for students of middle class families.
- Students council always active as all our problems are address by them.
- Placements which were slim till 2024 has started getting better by each year.
Dislikes
- Internships are not provided to many as politics are played inbetween and also favouring the friends and all is done.
Course Curriculum Overview
For academics I would rather our college slightly above the other GGSIPU affiliated law colleges as during intercollege programs I have seen our college performing well and students because of the well round education system are always on top.
Internships Opportunities
Some Arbitration lawyers to family lawyers to criminal lawyers, they send an invitation to our college every month for intenrship and that is how we are approached and gets to intern with such lawyers.
Placement Experience
Packages aren't as high as NLUs or the other colleges as we hardly get paid but experience is everything in law and we are given placements to experience lawyers and their houses of law. At max 20-30k a month is what we are offered from college placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIMT is an institute which has been instrumental in running the college successful even with charging such a low fees from the student's. Our fees in 3rd year is 1,08,000 and exam fees of 7000 per semester has to be paid so a total of around 1.2 lakhs is the academic cost at IIMT & School of Law.
Campus Life
Our college is a building of 5 floors and two of which are for management and two for law department. Top floor for housing a library, an activity room and last but not the least a minimum auditorium too. Our annual fest is there but it's our department fest Gyan Manthan which gives us the best of times at the campus as it's a fierce battle between teams of various colleges.
Admission
Entrance and 12th marks as both are necessary because without IPU counselling we aren't getting admission here. So this is a nice process as filter of best happens and even though this was not the college i intended to study at the first place, I am still happy to be studying here.
Faculty
Our college has invited faculties going a tough screening or selection round as to make sure college has top alumni in future, the college has done the right thing by building the right base for the same. None of them are undercooked as they believe in promising less and delivering more and professor Jayant Laddha is one such example of it.
Night Life
We have some small tea stalls and samosa corners and momo stall in our college area. This is a court area so not much but River Cross Mall is just 2 kms and we get everything we need over there. Ganes Zone, Movie Theatre and Food Courts everything is there and therefore that's our hideout post college.
