Course Curriculum Overview

5

The Sociology curriculum is quite relevant as it covers both theory and real-life issues, which helped me choose this course. It prepares us well for research and future careers, though adding more fieldwork and practical exposure would make it even better. Exams are held on time and are of a fair difficulty level.

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly admission fees include tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees lab fees , library fees, bus fees, canteen fees, renewal of uniform fees each year , electricity fees, college development fees, events fees all this if I add it sums upto around 6000 to 7000 in a year and me n my friends we all have the same ammount of fees to be paid each year and the scholarship we get is around 10k for merits they get 2 to 3k More than the general student

Campus Life

4

Campus life in my college is quite active and enjoyable. The main event is Foundation Day, and we also celebrate Freshers’ Day in August. There are clubs like the Business Skills Improvement Club, Blood Donation Club, and Missionary Club which give students opportunities beyond academics. The library has a good collection of books, and each classroom is equipped with a projector and proper infrastructure. Sports and extracurricular activities are also encouraged, which makes the overall experience balanced and engaging.

Admission

I chose this government college because of its good reputation, affordable fees, and accessibility. Due to financial problems, I couldn’t apply to many colleges, so I only applied here. The admission process was simple, with around ?9k fees and eligibility set at 70%, which made it possible for me to join.

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio will be 14:29.and most of the faculty members are good but my most favourite will be ma'am Aola she is the one who understand me n the students much better n the one I don't appreciate much will be ma'am faustina I do like her alot but I prefer a person or teacher like ma'am Aola. We have 2 main exams first is the internal exams n the final or external exams. In the first exams only 2 to 3 students per class failed n in the final around 4 to 5 students

Night Life

2

I don't have any hangout spots but we do go in canteen during break n the library after the classes and the classes starts at 8 to 12 for 4 hours each day. My college is situated where there is less places to visit like it's isolated from the main town

Remarks:

Our college has all the infrastructures that a student need for basic learning but not all for a complete standardized exposure linked to our talents. The attendance weight age is quite attentively followed and students may be dropped just because of the attendance. It's quite far from here town so, usually alot of people stay in the hostel, and staying in the hostel seems to be painful since the areas adjoin the college is a highway, and we don't have access to towns and good shops nearby in order to get our need full filled. Apart from my studies I'm also having a good time with my professors.
