Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite comprehensive and relevant to today's market, whether you wanna go the academics, in-house, or a law firm. The structure is relevant. Faculty teachers with real-life examples, articles, case law, and much more. We had a timely industry expert session to know the insights as well. The frequency of exams and timings is fair as we get sufficient time to cope with things.
Internships Opportunities
For a Master's in law, there is no specific scope of placements, so i think a person should consider that in their mind, but if you are looking for a career in academics, then you must join this institution, and even if you are planning for Phd, this college is the best.
Fees and Financial Aid
The LLM program at Manipal University Jaipur is a one-year program with a tuition fee of 85000 INR, comprising 75000 INR for tuition and 10000 INR for registration. Fees are uniform for all categories of students, regardless of caste or other diverse variations. There are a few scholarship programs run for students like Vasanti Pai PG fellowship, MUJ Grad confession, specially-abled, ward of martyr, and other similar scholarship. Overall, the course is inclusive, cost-effective, etc.
Campus Life
I think I lived my campus life to the fullest. There are so many events in the colleges. There are so many student-run clubs, like the dance club, music club, ADR CELL, and Entrepreneur Cell. We have MUNS, Moot courts, training sessions, and then they have an annual fest called "Onieros"
Admission
I chose this college because of multiple reasons, which include the NIRF ranking, industry collaborations, and research collaborations, etc. The admission process is quite easy, and the competition is less. and the university is student friendly.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is fairly balanced. The faculty is approachable, supportive, and always up for discussion. Faculty is well qualified, experienced, and holds phd degree. Many faculty members go beyond books and give examples based on real-life incidents, which makes the concepts clearer. faculty like Vijaylaxmi ma" am, Abhishek sir, and Ashu ma'am were amazing. There was a semester exam system where there were internals and externals on the E-pads. The exams were totally as per the syllabus.
Interview Experience
Yes, there were 2 rounds in order to take admission in MUJ, where 1st round is the written test which was moderate and the syllabus was as per the main subjects of bachelor's. It was based on that we got into round 2, that was PI, which was based on the subject of your choice, and they actually ask you very difficult questions then finally they offer the offer letters to the people.
Night Life
The campus is so beautiful that you can sit anywhere in the campus and it is beautiful from there, but the go-to place of their student, or you can say the assemble point of every student, is OLD MESS. Hostel life is more happening in MUJ.
