Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is fairly well sturctured. the curriculum also balance the academics and industry relevance perfectly. emphasis on hands on lab, industry projects, and internships influenced my decision to opt for this course.

Internships Opportunities

recently there was a training program from microsoft in which we learned about azure eb services and AI and we had to do 1 project on our own by the knowledge u gained during training. u can opt for outside campus internship

Placement Experience

a good number of companies visit college for placement. btech started here in 2023 so no placement record for btech. but other courses have decent placement 6-7 LPA avg highest wasy 18LPA for mba. placement rate as 100%

Fees and Financial Aid

if you are opting for btech fee will be 2,70,000 per year sums 10,80,000 which i avgerage considering you are doing btech from private college. there is no extra charge for anything apart from the tuition fee u will pay . if we talk about scholarship yes u will get scholarship according to your board marks and competitive exams marks (jee,cuet). i got 25% scholarship because my score was 82% in class 12. scholarship will continue after 1st year if you are able to score 8 CGPA else your scholarship will be removed and you will be paying 270000 a year.

Campus Life

every year college organized a annual fest "i-fest" and festivals fest. the range of books is decent u will get the book u wanted in library. every classrom has AC, white board, projector. a variety of social groups are present dance, technology, sports

Admission

i applied for thapar institute but i want to live with my family thats why i opt for this college. i also applied for ipu's but due to low rank in jee i wasnt able to get cse branch in top IPU's. admission process is simple if u gave jee and cuet you will easily get admission

Faculty

facult to student ratio is decent 1:30 and most professors are approachable both during and after the class. every semester u have to give 2 exams 1 is term and 2 is end term apart fromthese 2 exams have to give viva and internal assessment

Interview Experience

regular debates in communication subject u will have to choose a topic of your own and present in front of class. also u will get a chance to present your reseach paper on a very reputed stage. u will get admission through jee , cuet or college personal exam.

Night Life

cafe ambience is top notch, vibes are great, food is decent (7/10). total 3 cafe are there and maggie point. outside the college u ill get a mall here u can eat and hangout with your friends and inside relaxtion lounge and ground.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Echelon technology provides predefined curriculam and tests, exams on weekly basis. this college will help to make projects and intrest any activies which you like. All teachers teching method is mostly common and easy to understand for both types of student first who one is coming from outside of states and the local student.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Infrastructure of our college is too good,having proper ventilation system ,well equipped AC ,a hygienic environment having a lush green campus.it has proper wifi facilties in the campus. I would personaly rate it 4.5/5.
Here we get exposure to various growth opportunities like sports,studies and research.Even our college is open for students who plan to start their startup. our college provides specific amount help for students aspiring to run their own startup.
while talking about social interaction, our college has a good crowd and people are friendly so its easy to connect with them,all the faculties are expert in their domain having a good background and knowledge in their feild

Dislikes

CCTV's are not present in class which should be there for security purpose. only in the campus and corridors CCTV are present.It's kind of hard for students to get their medical certificate approved , they need a lot of formalities.
Mess food is not upto the mark, it should have been better thats why students have to go to canteen and food stalls to eat food and in campus girls to boys ratio is too less .less number of girls as compared to boys.
The library space is also very short ,it get's crowder and filled up during exam times so students have to go to other libraries present in the campus and it gets hard for student to study in summer's outside the library.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Likes

I liked the environment alot. The infrastructure is very good.
The food court is also very good and provide good food on affordable price.
I like the teachers alot they are very easygoing and friendly to communicate with.

Dislikes

I don't like the uniform system as they ask us to wear it daily.
There should be days atleast once a week where we can wear casuals in college.
The teachers are very strict about the study.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
