The curriculam at Galgotias University is relevant and industry-oriented, with subjects like DSA, Web Dev, and AI/ML that influenced my courses choice. It prepares students well for real-world jobs and higher studies . Exams are held twice mid-tem and end-term are moderately difficult.

At Galgotias University, the annual tuition fee for most undergraduate programs, such as B.Tech, is 1,59,000. This fees remains consistent across all four year of the course. The University provides a wide range of scholarships to support meritorious and deserving students. These include merit-based scholarships for board toppers and high-ranking entrance exam candidates (like JEE), sports scholarships for national-level athletes, and Merit-Cum-Need scholarships for students with strong academic records and limited financial means.

Campus life at Galgotias is active and enjoyable, with various cultural and technical events held throughout the year. The library is well-equipped with books, journals, and digital resources. Classrooms have modern facilities like projectors and Wi-Fi, The university offers good sports infrastructure and encourages extracurriculars. Multiple student-run club like coding, music ,dance, and entrepreneurship.

I applied to several colleges including Amity University, Sharda University, and a few state-level government colleges. I received confirmed admission offers from both Amity and Sharda, but I chose Galgotias University primarily because of its strong academic reputation in Computer Science, better student reviews, and more industry-relevant curriculum. The faculty and placement support at Galgotias also seemed more promising compared to other provate universites I considered.

The faculty at Galgotias University is well-qualified and approachable, with a student-to-facult ration of about 20:1. Professors like Dr. Rakesh Sharma (TOC) and Ms. Neha Gupta (DSA) stand out for their clarity and interactive teaching. The course structure is updated regularly with releavant subjects like DSA, Wev Dev, and AI/ML. Each semester has mid-term and end-term exam, with a marking scheme of 30% mid-term, 20% internals, and 50% end-term. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and most students clear tehm if they stay consistent.

Nightlife around Galgotias University is calm yet enjoyable. The library and academic buildings usually close by 6-7 PM, while the gym and cafeterias shut around 9 PM. Hostel in-time is 9:30 PM and students need to follow entry logs. The campus has common area where students relax, chat, or play indoor games in evening.
