Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is especially designed for students. The curriculum allows students to concentrate on the exams, and allows they to think out of the box and students are able to think out of the box .

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements are not up to the mark, and 3rd year campus placements are provided by the university, and MNCs do not come to this campus and the campus placement cell is irresponsible about their students

Fees and Financial Aid

DR. MGR EDUCATIONAL & RESEARCH INSTITUTE offers a wide range of programs with fee structures that vary by course. UG programs like Btech range from 35000 to 2L per semester, while PG programs like MBA and Mtech average between 50000 to 75000 per semester. Additional charges include hostel fees (60000-80000/year), exam fees, and one-time costs like uniform/blazer fees. The university provides several scholarships, including: Merit-based scholarships (president, chairman, alumni, sports) Government scholarships under the central sector scheme Alumni-relative concessions Merit-cum-means financial aid A student must maintain good academic performance to retain benefits. The scholarship process is fairly transparent, and deserving students can significantly reduce their tuition burden. Overall, the institute offers flexible financial support with moderate to high fees, especially for technical healthcare programs.

Campus Life

3

Overall experience is good. Campus placements are not up to the mark, and also this college is too chill and to roam outside, it feels free to the students to enjoy and all and there is no certain maintainance to the college

Hostel Facilities

5

Meal quality is excellent in that price range and menu is suitable for everyone and there is separate mess for north indians and south indians because the cuisines are different every one and snacks are also provided in the evening

Admission

I have got a scholarship fee structure that is suitable for me to concentrate on my specific course, and a wide range of courses will be provided to students. The courses that are provided by the university; no other university will provide them.

Faculty

4

The student and faculty are good, and the faculty are very approachable to every student. The names of some of the faculty are Geetha mam, Mohandass, and Arun sir. They are friendly with students .

Night Life

4

And this university has having gym in the hostels and no cafeterias, u have to go out for everything, and the hostel timings are up to 9 pm. After that, the hostel gates are closed. and you to write a reason to go out

There is no good roads to our college. As there is a good and excellent hostel mess with sufficient seating arrangement. There is bus service to each and every corner. As the drawbacks are there no separate playground for cricket and hockey.
