Entrance Preview

I entered this college through ANNA UNIVERSITY counselling and i scored a cut off of 189.25, for this cut off this was the best one in coimbatore so i opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good,The classes are equipped with smartboard to make the studying process better and also they provide SMARTBOOKS from MCGRAW HILL for studying purposes.

Internships Opportunities

Some companies offered for 4th year students and i dont know anything much more than that. Mostly students are left individually to try for internships.

Placement Experience

Placement is going good. Many IT companies such as Accenture,Wipro,CTS ,Cognizent, Amazon and core companies like Hyundai ,Bosch. Packages were like 25 to 35k per month as far as i know and a total of 765 students got placed in the year 2014-2015. This year's placements are going on.

College Events

Each department has their own technical event which happens yearly,it will be conducted in a great manner and students from various colleges all around india will participate. Conferences too will be held yearly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and are similar to colleges under anna university. Management is not too strict about the date of fee payment too,schloarships and fee waivers are accepted too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes ,management offers scholarships for all students.I didnt avail any scholarships and so i dnt know anything much about that, but my friends have availed and got upto 10k.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good,boy's hostel is inside the campus and girl's hostel is outside. Each room will be shared by 3 or 4 students. Mess menu is good and the rate is not too costly also.WIFI facility is available all the time.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

College organises alumni meet often and students are requested to interact with them to know about their experiences in their particular field and also to know about internship offers and other such things.

Exam Structure

The exam sturucture is easy and not too hard on students,there will be three internal assessment tests and then a semester exam,sometimes there will be a model exam inbetween. For labs,there will be one or two model exams and a semester exam.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I added skct at 3 rd place in counciling. the first two colleges i didnt get seat as my mark was low. So automatically i got skct. Government will start counciling, then you need to apply through govt website. they will make a list accordingly ouw marks. then counciling dates will be given. we need to give college list in website at provided time. You will get a course and college you have provided already. If you have seat in 1st college for your mark you will get seat or next or next . then after 3 days you will get a text message for your college details. then within 2 days you have to go to your allocated college show admission proff amd pay fees. Experience of my College

Eligibility is 75% in state board exams. I GOT into this college via counselling process by TNEA. You can also get into this college by direct admission by visiting the college.
