- The college hosted tech fests ,workshops and hackathons that boosted hands-on learning and encouraged teamwork and creativity.
- The campus had a clean enviroment , decent labs for ECE a good library and affordable food in teh canteen , providing a comfortable space to learn and collaborate.
Dislikes
- Core placements for ECE students were limited , with most companies focused on IT roles. More industry tie-upsfor electronics should be included.
- The syllabus somethimes felt outdated and lacked alingment with current industry trends like IOT , AI and embedded systems.
- Wi-Fi access and lab system were often slow or outdated , which disrupted project work and self learining in improtant situations.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course primariy for its focus on core electronics , VLSI and embedded systems which align with my interest in hardware and real world tech applications . The curriculum offers a solid foundation in theory and subjects like digital electronics and microprocessors are particularlt relevan. It partially prepares students for real world roles but industry exposure and most advanced tools are limilted for further studies it provides a good base for M.Tech or research. Improvement should include updated electives like IOT , Ai and hands on sessions with industry grade tools .Teaching methods should more focus on the project based learning rather than just theory. Exams occur twice a semester as internals, followed by final university exams. The frequency is manageable but some subjects are challenging due to lack of practical exposure . More practice based assessments would make exams fairer and learning outcomes stronger,
Internships Opportunities
Companies like EIsystem technologies , SGSITS indore offered internship . Roles included ffront end development , VLSI design and IOT system building . Projects like news website and smart water system were build , focusing on real time data and user dashboard.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements fromthe 6th semesteer onwards. Companies like Bajaj , IDFC and einfochips and many more visits our campus. The highest package was 12 LPA and the average package was from 3-5 LPA for IT profiles. Around 65%-70% of student got placed .After my degree i plan to pursure for masters in my core technical skills
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees im paying is abt 65000. Tution fees is abt 65000 per year and their is no caution fees and no regestration fees and all they do take university development fees at the time of exams when u have to fill the exam forms and it will charge u around 2000 including development fees. Their is same fees for the student of all the bachmates it doesnt differ at all. Their are scholorships like medhavi yojna , post matric sholorships for (SC/ST/OBC) and college also offer merit cum scholorhips and it will benefit u financially
Campus Life
The annual fests like tech-o-utsav and many more are held during march and april. The library offers a wide range of engineering books , reference material and journals with access to digital resources. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards , projectors and wi-fi . sports like cricket , football , volleyball and activities like dance, drama, and music are encouraged. Clubs like coding club etc enhance skills and make student life more engaging and vibrant.
Admission
I applied to LNCT bhopal and SVVV indore . I reveived confirmed admission offers from this colleges but chose AITR due to its better academic reputation , experienced faculty and decent placements opportuinities in core and IT sector. No i didnt got rejections from the college where i applied .The admission process at AITR is throught MP DTE councelling based on JEE main scores. The cutoff varies , but a moderate score ensures admission. The process was smooth , with document verification and online seat allotment handled efficiently.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio at AITR is fairly balanced especially in the ECE department with around 1 faculty member for every 20-30 students /This ratio allows for decent individual attentions especially during lab sessions , project work and doubt solving sessions. The faculty students relationship is generally positive. Most techners are approachable , both during and outside of class hours , and willing to guide students on academic topics, projects, and career advice. Some of the best Faculty members i encountered was prof. Dr. kamlesh gupta sir , HOD UBS Chandrawat sir and many more they are best in there domain. However a few faculty lacked clarity or were not responsive to doubts which affected the learning experience. Each semester has two internal exams and one final university exam. the exams are moderately difficult 5-10% students may fail in tougher subject. The curriculum is partly relevant but needs updates to match industry trends like IOT , embedded systems and Ai . Practical exposure is limited in some subjects which could be improved for better career readiness and hands on skills
Night Life
No we dont have gym in the college but we do have library which opens at 11 Am and closes at 4 Pm . and we dont have hostel either in the college but the campus timings are from 7 AM to 5 PM.
