Remarks

You will get sufficient time to study for your goals because here you get some benefit in attendance. Also this is one of the cheapest college so you can invest that money in good coachings. Infrastructure is not that good but that's okay. Hostel students live in great harmony but the hostels are not in very good condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

1st year course is same for everyone but from second year subjects related to the your branch are taught. These subjects get complicated as you move to your next semester. The exam pattern is divided into semesters and there are two semesters each year and finally written exams and externals (viva).

Placement Experience

4

Job opportunities are very good. On an average nearly 90 percent of students get placement with an average package of about 3.5 lakhs per annum. In 2018 highest package was around 8 lakhs which is much better than private Engineering colleges. My college do not provide any internship. If anyone is interested then they have to go to other places for internship.

College Events

4

Events in my college are very rare. Since my admission no major event took place. But every year there is an induction programme for 1st year students where they are taught about college and are taken to every place in college and sometimes take out the students to show famous places in the city. Some great personalities and ex alumni also visit the college to share about their experiences and guide the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. In fact this is one of the cheapest engineering colleges in India. It costs less than Rs 25000 a year. And you can save a great money from this college which you can invest for coaching and other educational works. Even the hostel fee is very less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes my college offers scholarship for students. Top scoring students in JEE are given relief in the fee and they are only charged few thousand rupees. It also offers scholarship on the basis of caste like OBC students who have income less than 3 lakhs can avail scholarship from the state government through college.

Campus Life

2.5

They are not that good. However you may get exposure to participate in sports competition with other colleges ( even with IITs) if you are already good in sports. Basketball, cricket, volleyball and badminton are the major sports played here. There are labs with equipments and some labs also have AC installed but the equipments are very old. Computers in labs do not have proper softwares to practice coding languages and some systems do not work. There are exposures of dance, drama, debate with other colleges. Even there are different groups like literary group, dance group, music group which give opportunities to new students. Their members and heads are senior students. They guide and help you in your interests.

Hostel Facilities

2

No, I do not live in hostel. These hostels are very old and stinky. Walls have cracks and they are not properly painted. Rooms do not have proper ventilation and the beds provided by the institution are also not in very good condition. Food is also average in the hostel mess according to my friends.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very good and they really care for you. Tell them about any problem related to family, money, professors they always stand by you. Some of them become so close to you that you become like brothers. Alumni sometimes visit college and we have to gather at the auditorium to listen them. They guide you about different opportunities and motivate students to start preparing themselves for their goals in life.

Admission

I got 103 marks JEE Mains so I applied in mponline counselling for engineering. In first round I gor Madhav Institute of technology, Gwalior but in the second round I got Jabalpur Engineering College and soon I took admission here with Information Technology branch.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college are supportive and knowledgeable. However some teachers have good knowledge but they lack in teaching skills and couldn't gather attention of students. Few teachers use smart classes for teaching like PowerPoint presentation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding, data, web work and other IT skills. The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work, live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term. The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.
