Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum covers the core concepts required for the degree and are mostly aligned with current industry trends, especially in fast evolving fields like Computer Science. Teaching techniques vary by professor-some use interactive methods and real life examples, while others rely on traditional chalk and talk lectures or PowerPoint slides

Internships Opportunities

5

The college provides some support for internships, mainly through placement cells and faculty recommendations. A few companies visit the campus for summer internships, but most high-quality or paid opportunities require students to apply off-campus on their own. There are also on campus companies like Samsung and Synopsis

Placement Experience

5

Placements are quite decent in this college with some of the top recruiters being Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Amazon. The average package is around 6-7 LPA The highest package offered here was 53 LPA Almost all the eligible students get placed and the remaining can plan to do their masters or improve their skill-set.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you get in through KCET, the yearly fees for Computer Science and Engineering is around 150000 If you get in through COMEDK, the yearly fees for CSE is around 300000 If you get in through management quota, the yearly fees is around 500000 for CSE branch

Campus Life

5

There are five clubs in the campus namely, 1. Under 25 club 2. Google Developer Groups club 3. Ad-Astra Club 4. Microsoft Learn Club 5. TEDx Club Every year, there are many cultural events being organised like Chiguru, and technical events like the Open-house, etc.

Admission

I mainly joined this college because it is an autonomous college and the syllabus & curriculum are updated according to the present industry requirements. Moreover, the placements in this college is quite decent with average package being 6-7LPA. One can get admitted into this college either through exams like KCET, COMEDK, JEE mains or directly through management quota

Faculty

5

There are around 7-8 faculty in each department. Most of them are friendly, supportive and approachable. All of them have excellent teaching skills. There are two internal examinations and one external examination for each semester. The question papers are moderate and few questions require critical thinking and are application based.

Night Life

5

Nightlife on the college campus is relatively calm and depends a lot on the student's initiative. There are indoor activities like gym, badminton, chess, etc. and outdoor activities like football, cricket, etc. There are 3-4 cafeterias inside the campus and plenty of them outside the campus too. The hostels are pretty good with all the basic facilities

6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. A CGPA of 7.5 and above makes you eligible for most of the companies. The placement record of my college has been great this year. 1200+ offers were made with an average package of 9 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students who applied for placements are placed now. The average placement of my branch (CSE AI ML) was 15 lakhs. The highest placement was 55 lakhs by Microsoft but it was off campus. My plans after getting a degree is to pursure MBA
