I chose this college beacuse many of my friends recommend and my parents were happy to enroll me to this college beacuse of placement opportunities. I had not got a good rank in kcet so i had enroll myself through management where the fees is quite high. The college location made commuting easier saving my time. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 with phy, math and one optional subject minimum 45% and students can qualify through kcet or comedk exams. Other than this I have not apply to any college because I got an admission through kcet. As My ranking was good. It wasn't because of academic weakness just the margin for getting into this colleges is extremely narrow and a few 100 ranks can make a big difference. Before joining this college I have applied to multiple colleges. But the fee structure of a other colleges were high were not as expected. I had consider horizon where management fees was 30 lakhs per year and also considered Ramaiah where the fees was 50 lakhs per year. I had nots code welling case at exam so I had to join through management which costed me 5 lakhs per year at Cambridge.Lower tuition fees. The faculty is good. The eligibility criteria is 45% 10 + 2 and also should qualified through kcet and comedk or direct management quota. The cutoff is for CSE is 30000. The placement eligibility is from 7th semester however that training and pre placement start from 5th semester. Every year top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM. So my parents suggested me to join Cambridge Institute of technology.
