Likes

Environmental friendly campus and ragging free campus.
Lecturers motivates to participate in several events,sports, seminars and clubs.
The girls to boys ratio is about 35:65 in our campus.

Dislikes

There is nothing mostly to dislike in this college.
But in some sort times the lectures acts strict

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum comes with very specifications and course related subjects which gives us grip on that field. And this curriculum provides with the basic level to go into that field . The teaching method is quite good in our department as lectures provides us with the good basic knowledge.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Placement Experience

After 3-2 the students become eligible for placements . The companies which visited to our campus is Infosys,simen,wipro, accenture and etc., The training and placement cell provides us to offer us with good placement and they guide us untill you get the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees we have been paying every year is 105000 and we need to pay extra fees for library and training and we will get scholarship amount of 35000 for the category OC and for the categories like minority will have a different fee structure.

Campus Life

The campus life experience is overall good,there will be having fests,events conducting every year and also campus encourages us to participate in various sports, activities and providing stalls. And there is innovative and robotic clubs in our department which helps us with improving technical abilities

Admission

This college comes with better placements as there is a slogan saying that 'Think CMR, Think placements '. We can join this college through counselling and management. As we need to write EAMCET for counselling.

Faculty

The faculty and students relationship is good.If we approach them for help they guide us with their knowledge and experience. My favourite lecturer or faculty is Dr.ch.sudhamani mam she is the guide for my mini and RTP and she guided and took care of us in each step of our project and also encourages to participate in every event teaches well. The exams are difficult.And the pass percentage of semester is 70%.

Night Life

Here we are having gym facility at morning and evening time and we have library facility where we can build our knowledge which opens at 10 and hostel which is having rules that the gates closes at 6pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%
