Curriculum is average, teaching methods need modernisation. Relevance is moderate, more industry aligned updates would help. Stagnant but decent foundational knowledge. Curriculum covers basics
Internships Opportunities
There are many firms with connections to this college. Some of them are MSME, TCS, Infosys, Toyota, etc which provide decnt internship roles beuilding up the student's technical knowledge and guiding them through their future endeavours. The basic stipend is in the range of 10-15k.
Placement Experience
The campus placements can be quite average. There are certainly room for improvements. The overall placement is ?450000. But in recent years, the college has shown grounds of advancements. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and TCS, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual tuition is 1.4 lakhs. The Hostel fees are 1.1 lakhs and rise yearly. Transport is not included. Top performers get a 5000 scholarship, and the University toppers may earn foreign trips. Scholarships are merit-based and limited.
Campus Life
Interaction with NRI and student nationwide enriches social life. Clubs are active, through the infrastructure is modest. Literary clubs, thrive, campus is small, but fosters community bonding, socially vibrant with regional diversity, the infrastructure is basic yet adequate.
Admission
I chose this college for faculty quality and infrastructure. Admission is done via JEE rank. It is preferred due to lower 12th grade cut-off compared to stricter institutions. Lively campus environment and direct admissions options influenced my decision. Faculty reputation and accessible admission process were key factors.
Faculty
The faculty is approachable and offer career guidance beyond academics, Dr Suresh Pratap and Mr Manoj Kumar are standout professors. Exams include two 50 marks sessional and a 70 marks PUT following AKTU patterns.Helpful faculty, including associate professor, Dr AP Singh, enhance learning the AKTU aligned exam structure.
Night Life
Girls face strip rules, that is no delivery post 7 PM. Boys gym is well equipped. The cafeteria offers affordable meals with evening gym access for boys. Nightlife is due to campus rules, gender based restrictions limit nightlife for girls.
