Course Curriculum Overview
College offers a curriculum that is relevant, comprehensive, and aligned with industry needs. I chose this college due to its focus on core technical subjects, practical labs, and real-time projects, especially in departments like ECE which include VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and Communication Protocols. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and higher studies through project-based learning, internships, and paper presentations. However, the syllabus could be further improved by including recent technologies like IoT, AI, and cybersecurity, along with more interdisciplinary electives. Teaching methods can be enhanced through interactive sessions, case studies, and workshops for better engagement. Industry exposure through expert talks and visits would also be beneficial. The college follows a structured exam pattern with two internals and one final exam per semester. While the timing is usually convenient, it can be tight during project submissions or fest seasons.
Placement Experience
Compared to previous years this years placements are less but most of them are getting placed. Cse and it streams students are betterly placed than ECE EEE CIVIL and mechanical students. But theyre also getting placements
Fees and Financial Aid
Present fee structure is 1.5 lakhs for every branch and there is a scholarship providence for student's and there are few other services which provides financial help for the financially backward people.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant with fests like Euphoria (March) & Acumen (Feb) , a rich library, smart classrooms , active clubs like IEEE , EWB , sports facilities , and VSAC portal for student engagement.
Admission
I applied to VNR VJIET, I chose Vasavi for its better academic reputation, placements, experienced faculty, and strong alumni network. I didn’t get into VNR VJIET due to a slightly higher cutoff in my category; my rank missed the required range by a small margin. It was competitive, and I couldn’t make it in the final round of counselling. Vasavi's admission process is through TS EAMCET for B.E/B.Tech courses. Eligibility includes passing 10+2 with MPC. TS EAMCET is the most preferred, and cutoffs are relatively high due to its reputation.
Faculty
Faculty are very friendly and they help students in every aspect coming to the exam patterns there will two internal exams and one end semester examination. Since it is affiliated to other university the papper is set and evaluated by them
Interview Experience
No GD or interview was required. Admission was purely based on TS EAMCET rank. I got into this college through jee mains. I prepared through regular mock tests, previous papers, and focused on concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Math.
Night Life
Campus closes by 7 PM; as their is no hostel facility in college students go out of the campus around 5 to 6. Hangouts include Coffee Cup, Sarath City Mall, and VSAC lounge. The area is safe, and students unwind with food, games, or café visits.
