Course Curriculum Overview
BA Literature is one of the valuable course, it's the journey of Literature from the past to the modern world. History of English Literature helps me to have a broaden view in Literature. Children's Literature emphasis the aspect of life in a mild tone. Literature shapes the world, so I'm really excited to unfold my journey with what I learnt.
Internships Opportunities
IT companies and non IT,; Cameo, Matrimony, Healthcare services. They offer and help the students to find a better opportunity and high paid job. Research and projects ; it is open to all the students and faculty of Patrician College.
Placement Experience
For campus placements, third year are only eligible for it. IT related companies and non IT companies offers job placement; voice and non voice. The highest package was 200000, and the average package is 1.5 lakh. 84% of students succeed in getting Job. I am planning to go for correspondent study and to work as a teacher which would help me in my professional field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations that cater to diverse interests. The Year-wise fees is based on per semester; 40000-50000. Scholarships are available for ST, OBC, SC and others, the amount of Scholarship range from 15000-20000. Patrician College of Arts and Science is ranked No.1 in Tamilnadu and No.15 in India among all non autonomous Arts and Science colleges by Education world ranking 2025-26. I would highly recommend Patrician College of Arts and Science to anyone looking for a well-rounded and supportive educational experience.
Campus Life
In the library, different books and journals from Children's Literature to notable Novels, non fiction, fiction, psychology books, math , General knowledge, magazine are available, it offers the students to engage in different fields. The classes are provided with blackboard, projector, fans which helps the students to concentrate more.
Admission
First of all, I directly apply to this college because other colleges seat were full. One of the faculty here introduce me to this college. The admission process was not that a problematic one, marksheet, Transfer certificate, Domicile certificate, Tribe Certificate, income certificate were asked to submit. The most preferable course is BCA and BCom. As BA English students the admission went smoothly.
Faculty
sometimes they might be lacking but overall I had the best experience. The exams aren't that difficult, it's average but some tend to fail because of their own personal reasons. The course is well system and introducing the students in various platforms.
Night Life
In Patrician College, the cafeteria, library, and public area are well managed. Hostel is not available in this college. The campus life of Patrician College is an excellent one to me, with the presence of trees and wide campus. Inside the college canteens, small cafe, food truck are available. Patrician College is situated in Adyar Chennai so far the locality is safe to me.
