I selected Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies over other colleges I applied to because, first the goodwill of the college. The name symbiosis had an impact on selecting the college. I even liked the course structure, specialisations offered and the 4 year honours with research had an edge.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum consists of 5-6 subjects in a semester which includes core subjects,elective subjects and value added subjects as well. Assignments and class tests are given regularly which helps us prepare for our mid-semester exams and end-semester exams as well
Internships Opportunities
Personally I haven't applied for any internships from the college but I can tell you that symbiosis Bengaluru provides various internship opportunities starting from the 4th semester. Students have even done internships in companies like KPMG
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in Symbiosis Centre for management studies is 3,60,000 per year approximately. The institute offers us four specialisations that are : Finance, HR, Marketing and Business Analytics.
Campus Life
The campus life in the aspect of fests,club involvement and infrastructure has been amazing. I personally joined the Sports Club which is active all the time and gave me the opportunity to take part in a lot of fests and competitions.
Hostel Facilities
In our hostel, there are four people in a spacious room in which our privacy is take care of, with 2 bathrooms and sufficient enough balcony. Hostel provides us admin rooom to study, parents waiting area, TV room, Mess etc. Hostel also gives us sports facilities like badminton court,basketball, table tennis and much more,
Faculty
The faculty provided to us are very experienced and highly accomplished in their own fields. They are very helpful when it comes to solving doubts or tackling any real life problems. One thing I like the most about the faculty is professionalism.
Night Life
The night life around my campus is very different from any other college because of the location. My college being surrounded by big companies, I see corporate employees and workers everytime I go out. Environment in hostel is very lively and the facilities provided makes the whole hostel life comfortable.
