My College

School playground needs to go bigger.The mess food could be improved.hostels could be made cleaner. The classrooms and library are pretty well made. Even the corridors and the college structure is quite impressive.

The courses are provided by Pune University as my College is affiliated to Pune University. We have insem exams which includes a 25 marks each two online exams for 1st and 2nd year and a 30 marks written exam for 3rd and 4th year. From 2nd year onwards we have practical exams . And end exam at the end of the semester for all years .

There is a training and placement department in the college. From 2nd year onwards they train the students for getting good placements into the companies. Many IT companies come into the college and provide placements to the students.90% placements are seen here. Teachers update students with placement opportunities during Holidays.

Dhruva- The annual college festival happens once a year. Many technical as well as cultural activities take place. Singing, dancing, fashion shows, Dj everything happens during this period. Students have good time leaving their hectic schedule aside for that time period.

The fee structure is quite expensive . but the college provides provision to pay in installments for children unable to pay they fees because of financial problems. And according to caste criteria some students are excused with tution fees.

Scholarships and loan facilities are provided by most of the Colleges. But not here. Colleges allows the students to pay their fees in installments.but don't give any provisions of loan. They dont provide any scholarships for the students.

Various sports are played in my college whichh includes Football, Cricket, Basketball, Kabaddi, Athletics etc.There are some good labs with all computers consisting of Windows 10 , Linux and ubantu . These help us students of computer department to do our works pretty well.

Hostel are not that great as there bedbugs seen in most of the rooms.Even the mess food is also not great. The taste could be seen going down day by day.Students fall sick in hostel due to all these problems.

Ragging is strictly prohibited and strict actions are taken against students.The seniors are very helpful. They provide books to the juniors and help in all the ways by telling about how to study, about the exams, how to score etc.

I had heard of this college since I was in 12th standard that it was very good if you decide to have a future in IT sector.Since my CET marks weren't that great. I had to go to this College and apply for management quota. So according to my marks , they gave me a seat there.

Some faculty are good while some are not that great like in every college. Mathematics teachers for my department were not that great. Even my computer department HOD doesn't know fluent English. But still comparing everyone there are some really intelligent teachers too for data structures and coding.
