Course Curriculum Overview

2

A doctor from the US suggested me this course, the syllabus isnt much difficult and can be read effectively if interested however job oppirtunities are limited and as of now i consider changing my line in the masters

Internships Opportunities

1

Our course has a internship of 1 year after completion of the thirs year during internship one or 2 companies may come in for placement as thirs year students we have not sat in any placements however the job oppurtunities are limited in this field maybe there could be better opportunities in abroad.

Placement Experience

2

As of now we haven't seen any placements our seniors (4th year) they told us about 1 placement they all sat for. I plan on changing my line on the master's as there arent much job opportunities here. However engineering has good placements

Fees and Financial Aid

I am an NRI student and was asked to pay 3 lakhs per annum , then i got a scholarship of 50 percent which reduced the fee to 1.45 lakhs per annum. Wheras for the normal category they pay 1.2 lakhs per annum Other than that i pay for hostel 1.5 lakhs per annum for non AC whereas for AC its 2.75 lakhs per annum , however this hostel is meant for only engineering and NRI students , the hostel is highly safe and secure with strict rules , 2 sharing rooms with attached bathroom Whereas the other hostel have a fee of 90k with 3 sharing and a bathroom per floor

Campus Life

2

Engineers students have a technical festival know as AARUSH which will be held every october as medical students we have cultural festival every september known as PANACEA a lot of celebrities are invited and it is conducted in an amazing way it goes on for 3 days drom morning 9 yo 7 in the evening. There is a cultural festival for the whole collage known as MILAN which is held every march this is a pay base cultural fest.

Hostel Facilities

5

M block hostel has 2 shating rooms with attached bathroom , wide rooms with seperate dressing table and study table for each 2. The food is good but the menu is same so it gets boring after a period of time however we do have a supermarket , cafe , saloon, gym, study room , television area , stationary, clothing store , stitching shop within the hostel

Admission

The admission for me as an NRI was simple , whereas my other classmates had to write entrance exams however all of them got in I applied for ramachandra but the fee was high for NRI it was around 6000 dollars per year to study there i could have spent the same amount abroad and study in a better collage I applied in DR MGR and hot the seat they have half day classes But everyone suggested SRM as it has better placement for engineering they have good placement for our course there arent much opportunities

Faculty

2

The course isn't that hard if we study we have sem wise exams and the first year we had lecture hall classes where we sit with 8 departmens as in the whole of AHS the lecture halls have AC and teaching was good. From second year we get a room in the hospital no more lecture hall classes and thats when the course starts getting bored from second year we have an average of 2 theories 2 practicals and 2 internal subjects The practicals are very hard doctors would be asking questions and they expect us to have their level of knowledge. Second year we didn't have a good relations with the faculty , there was so much of partiality and internal marks were given higher to them. Thirs year we do have a good relationship with our faculty.

Night Life

2

In our hostel our intime is at 7 after entering after that our parents will be informed. There are many gyms near by bt for cafes we have to travel to the city. Campus in time is at 4 Nearby there is a foodstreet know as GST which is widley used by tge students of SRM

Placement Experience:

The college gives internships after the final year, 6 months is the duration of the internship, 3 months inside campus and 3 months they post us outside the college to nearby hospitals or colleges like SRM,Meenakshi, Saveetha, balaji etc....Placements are average, they have to do a lot of work on it, but the coming placements are with a good salary amount
