Likes

Campus is very big. There's football, cricket and basketball ground.
There's AC and projector in every classroom.
PPSU organisation so many functions in college. There's a big function that PPSU organizes name Kalagoonj.

Dislikes

Syllabus still feels outdated. There's more theoretical content compared to practical content.
Canteen is very small. Number of benches in canteen is also very less.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like Artificial intelligence. It is demanding field nowadays. That's why I chose Computer science specialization in AIML. Syllabus still feels outdated. The course focuses on theoretical content compared to practical content. They should include new subject that helps us to understand new technical industries.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 106050 per year

Internships Opportunities

I'm in 2nd year so i still don't know about interships But there are so many seniors in our college that teaches us. Students who get more than 7 CGPA gets internship in many companies. So college also hires students as interns to teach 1st and 2nd year students.

Placement Experience

I'm still in 2nd year so I don't know how much students got placed in every year. Average 30-40% students placed every year. Average package is 4 LPA. Highest package offered was 24 LPA Zomato, reliance, TCS, many companies come to recruitment. If I don't get package more than 8 LPA I'm planning to study M.Tech abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 106,050 every year Admission fees is 16,000 Students have pay 106,050 every year that include all other fees Scholarship like MYSY that gives amount of one semester fees to the students who got 80+ percentile in 12th grade And college also provide scholarship to students who got 7+ CGPA and have less than 6 lakh annual income

Campus Life

Campus life is very good in PPSU. There are so many clubs like photography club, art club, music club and AI and robotics club. There are almost every book in library that we should need to study our syllabus. PPSU organizes tournament in so many sports like football, cricket and basketball. Every classroom has projectors and two boards.

Admission

I got admission in Government engineering College Rajkot, but it's in another city so that my parents denied to take addmission in that college. Also there are only few colleges in my city and PPSU is best among them. You can take admission through your 12th board marksheet. PPSU also accept NIOS board's students.

Faculty

PPSU has large faculty. Student to faculty ratio would be around 1 faculty for every 80 students. Faculty is easy to approach. They solve all our doubts. The faculty i like are mrugesh Patel and Abhijeet Parmar. Their teaching method is really good, and their behaviour is also good. There are no faculty that i dislike. There are total 3 exam in every semester 1st internal 2nd internal End semester exam Exam is moderate. It is neither easy nor difficult. Around 10-15 students fail to clear exam in every class.

Night Life

There's is a Gym in college but it is only for the hostelers. There are 2 cafeteria for all students and one for hostlers. Campus timing is 8 am to 10 pm There are so many places to hang out in campus. Mostly student prefer to hang out around the waterfall in campus.

Placement Experience:

->in the third year itself the placements will be started the students must score >=7 cgpa in their academics. ->till now microsoft came we dont have idea how much offers they made. ->previous highest packege was 43 lpa and the average will be of 5 to 6 lpa. ->90% ->im preparing to secure a job in a product based company.

Courses like physics chemistry engineering drawing economics are unnecessary in computer science . Because of this this cources we could not focus on coding which is primary requirement in computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The AI and ML course is very useful and well-planned. It teaches important topics like Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Analytics. The course also includes practical work and projects that help us understand how things work in real life. Exams are taken on time and are of medium difficulty. It really helps students prepare for jobs in the AI field. Some updates with new topics and more industry training would make it even better.

We have dedicated placement cell here at msu and as per as placement is concerned. Also highest package from my department is 14lpa and from computer science it's 22.5lpa. You don't need fo worry about placement here as MSU really hold good value in market.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Itm Vocational University scam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be able to code which i really liked as i opted computer science in my optional in 10th. Itm provided international certifications and good subjects which later were changed and then no international certifications were done due to covid. The basic faculty to student ration was probably 1:10 . for every 10 students there was a faculty atleast for btech because it was only 50 students in our whole batch so there were no sections. All of our teaching faculty kept changing in each semester and basically were not qualified enough as some did not even complete masters or gave a gate exam. The teaching proscess were horrible because there were no computer facility provided and it was a scam to go to college for practicals because we would just play outside. no laptops allowed and there were no wifi spots to use net in our computer labs. The exams were also a pretty bad organised mess because they did not know what to teach in recurring subjects.
