Remarks

My college environment is very friendly. Ragging is considered as a serious offense. Staffs helps the students in all possible manners to support a student who suffers. Overall it is a good college. Anti-ragging cell is provided to assist students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are good. The exam structure is based on 6 theory papers and 3 practicals per semester. There are 8 semester for 4 years. The exam pattern is 80 marks for written exam and 20 marks for internal.

Placement Experience

Yes. The placement opportunities are good. Very good company will come for campus interview. But since I am not in final year, I haven't participated in interview. So I don't know about the stipend. But there are lot of opportunities available for internships

College Events

There are certain events celebrated in our college. Cultural program, onam celebration, pongal celebration, Christmas, Saraswati Pooja and etc.,All these events are well organized by the college and it is celebrated in a best manner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes the fees structure is very much feasible. Since I am a dayscholar student I have only tuition fees. It is 10000 rupees. If I am a first graduate,then it will be 5000 only. First graduate will also get scholarship from the government.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is lots of scholarship available for the students. The first graduate students gets their scholarship through the government. Then the scheduled cast students receive much more scholarship. The banks provide loan to the students who are in need for money for studying.

Campus Life

Our college students participate in district and state level sports competition and have won many prizes. The labs are somewhat moderate only they are not well equipped but good. The sports activities need some improvement.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. The alumni association meeting is done on yearly basis. The seniors will give us a good feedback about their experience about the outside environment for the job availability. They also guide the students in a better path for their future.

Admission

By counselling done in Anna University, Chennai. The counseling will be based on the cutoff marks obtained from the 12 th exam . Based on the cutoff marks the college can be selected. Then after choosing the college , there will be certificate verification necessary for the admission process.

The faculty in our college is very experienced. Most of the are PhD. They encourage the students to gain good knowledge. They are the well wishers and they set a good path for our students. They guide the students in a good path to our future.

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are average and students usually become eligible for campus placements from the final year or last semester.A few companies visit the campus for recruitment, mainly offering entery level roles in technical and non technical fields the average package offered is moderate and suitable for fresh graduates while higher package depends on the student skills and performance around the fair percentage of students get placed while others prefer higher studies or prepare for competative exams the college also give the basis placement training such as aptitude practice communication development and interview guidance which helps the students improve employment

Admission:

Through Direct Management. I got attracted to their commercial advertising. Visited the college and found that it would be a best fit for me to learn the Engineering properly. You always have the freedom to learn advanced studies if at all you can able to clear all your exam papers.

Remarks:

Was there for an enquiry, what I could see is well maintained green campus with better infrastructure, good parking area but campus is small. what I understand from students was college lacks in good faculties and poor management

I have chosen this college because my cutoffice match for only this college I have no any other reasons to pick this college to be frankly saying it is located in the main area in Nagercoil and also the climate is good that's one of the reason. I have chosen this college because having low fee and its comes under Anna University constituent college so for that. Also for my cut off only matches this college. The admissions process was completely based on grades and percentage of the 12 grade as it was a government college and staffs and the people working in the college were very helpful and cheerful during the admission process and they were kind.
