What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure is well structured and campus is clean and green.
Teachers are very humble and polite , they listen to the problems and provide solutions.
The library contains many usefull books and library staff is also nice

Dislikes

Canteen provide sometimes spoil food or quality is not good .
Strength of students in the campus is not very much.
In some classes cctv is not installed this is necessary in my point.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is well educated in the campus and they provide practical knowledge more than theory knowledge which is required in this course field. Frequent tests were also scheduled to test the knowledge .

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 57000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees structure including tution fees is 57000 per year where in odd semester is 29000 and in even semester is 28000 .No I don't know about the fees structure of different categories students .Scholarships are also there provided to sc st and ews students

Campus Life

They scheduled many extracurricular activities .perform the annual sports day and youth fest in a year. Which motivate students to participate more. Technology is used in classes like cctv, projector and computers in lab .

Admission

I chose this college because it's nearer from my home and it's one of the top college in the chandigarh and last but not the least it's a govt College. Admission process is based on the 12th marks . And cutoff is about 90 percent .

Faculty

There are many faculty members in the campus.i don't know the exact ratio but 1 ratio 3 fir faculty and students respectively. The library department is very humble and provide books and helps in searching books .There are 2 exams per semester one MST and final one.Exam level is moderate .

Night Life

The College have gym, library which contains many books and garden or park open for everyone. Hostel is there in the college and strictness is there for hostel students .I've never spent a night in the college .

Placement Experience:

I think in 3rd semestewr they offer the extra coure for placements and all the placements are good in chandigarh university in the end of the college degre we will get a avg job by their offered placements.

Placement Experience:

1. After 6 semesters the students become eligible for there college placements 2.The companies that visited my college are google microsoft and various other large tech companies and the largest offer made to our students were 1 crore ctc 3. The highest package was 1 crore ctc in our college and average package is that of 15 lpa in our college 4.There are 50-60% of students that get placements from our college 5.My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement offer if not then getting into an multinational firm

Students can attend placement seminars in their last year of graduation. There are mostly placement offers for the role of sales and marketing or chat-call executives. IT companies do visit also but very rarely and they only hire only 5 to 10 candidates. There are sometimes unpaid internship opportunities available too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA in itself is not a very good course that will gurantee your placement in a good company with high package, Its relevance is high only beacuse its easy to complete and get the degree. For good packages you have to do MCA or work harder on your skill to get a good job. BCA helps in building base of your coding career, it offers a good grasp of C/CPP, Java and DataStructure.

Sggs is alright, if you dont expect much

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was interested in computers and didn't wanted to do arts, and i was underqualified for other streams. Every class has about 45 students, the number vary but not much. The faculty and teachers are helpful. There maybe some slacking by both sides here and there but its alright. The teaching mathod varies. If you know what youre doing the exams are not that hard to pass.

Placement Experience:

In 4th or 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited like, amazon, paytm, flipkart, skrill, justdial, swiggy, zomato and many more. 90% students got placed. The minimum average package companies offered to students is around 1.5 lakhs and maximum 2.5 lakhs.

Excellent collage in chandigarh

Placement Experience:

Every year number of companies visit college to give student jobs. Well known companies visit in college like Google Amazon Tata Nike etc. In the last semester we are eligible for campus placement. The highest package was given by Amazon to one of the student of our college Was 2 crore per annum. The average package of our college was 20 lakh per annum. There are likely all the students Get placement. I had planned to become a software developer after my degree was completed

The Best Life of PGGC-11

This college is the best govt college in Chandigarh. The education level, the infrastructure, the co-curricular activites, the participation in youth festival is beyond the same of other colleges.
