Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum offers a strong mix of theory and practicals, helping in real-world applications. It prepares well for careers but needs more industry exposure. Exams, held twice a semester, are moderate but could focus more on problem-solving skills.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Bharat biotech, Biocon, etc are some of the company which offer roles to student based on thier interest. By the help of staff we can successfully complete projects with great outcomes and understanding.

Placement Experience

Student eligibility is 4th or 5th semester. Sutdents must be 70% or higher in marks for placement. Average package offered is 6 lakh per annum. My plans is to complete Msc and get a job with suitable pakage.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 12000 rs. Including all fees. I have EBC Scholarship. My batchmates who are SC, ST have paid 5000 or 4000 rs. Many scholarships are available for various categories. The full fees without any scholarship is 42000rs.

Campus Life

Various events are organised on various occasion or festivals. Every year a freshers party is arranged for the first year students. Also we can participate in many sports such as cricket, handball, volleyball, etc

Admission

I applied for Bsc course and i got confirmed admission but it didn't include the Biotechnology course so i choose this college over Sangameshwar College. Other colleges rejected because my CET percentile was low.

Faculty

The faculty has many teachers, and the student-faculty ratio is average. Staff is strict but supportive in projects and practicals. Lab assistants and peons help. Exams include Internals and Externals.

Night Life

We have a boys hostel near the college. It provides good services for students including mess. Also we have a library full of books of every subject. We have many cafe, snack corner, marts near the college

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

Placement Experience:

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

The course is an integrated MSc and the Institute is funded by the both university of Mumbai and the department of atomic energy. Student: teacher ratio is so much satisfactory, each professor knows each student. The professors are mainly visiting professors from IIT Bombay, barc, tifr etc institutes.
