- The fees is very affordable for the courses. And the infrastructure is also very good. It provides good facilities too.
- The campus is very green and very good. The teachers are helpful but it depends on the student if they like them or not.
- Placement services are not top notch but they too are good. The highest package is around 15-17 lakhs and average is around 5 lakhs per annum.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and the sports culture is also not very good.
- The placement are good but they're not provided to everyone. Not many companies visit the campus either.
- The faculty is ok ok. They aren't very good either but they can be a bit problematic.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always very indulged in technology and had an interest for Artificial intelligence. Even augmented reality and virtual reality. Creating chat bots or learning about the development of a game and not just playing it. These all were enough to make me choose my course. The areas of improvement would be better facilities. We have sessional exams every 2 months and difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Our college does offer internship opportunities. The first internship is after the 4th semester and one is after the 6th semester. A student can take an internship in the whole 8th semester if he/she has a minimum of 7cgpa and no backlogs. The companies would be upgrad, jio, reliance, paytm etc. They take in students as normal interns and let them understand how everything is done.
Placement Experience
The placement criteria for my college is a minimum 7 cgpa and no backlogs in any subjects during the placement sessions. Companies such as upgrad, jio etc have visited the campus and around 40% students get placed. The average package is around 5 lakhs per annum whereas the top package is around 15-17 lakhs per annum. Since sem 6 students are eligible for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees that i will pay is 1lakh 5 thousand. Which the total fees for an year. It includes evergthing i.e. caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other charges. All of it is inlcuded in the fees. The fees for BCA is around 70k per year. Scholarship is basically based on your 12th percentage. I got a 20k scholarship for 1st year since i scored 85% in 12th . For 70-80% you get a 15k scholarship.
Campus Life
There are activities all over the year in our college and many types of clubs too ranging from quiz club to dancing club to fashion club and coding club and many more. The sports culture is okayish and not very great and the campus life is a also not the best since it is a very small campus but the campus is green. Very green. So it is alright. There is a library which is alright too. And you can't really get interesting books there but educational ones.
Admission
I chose this college due to the affordability and how near it was to my home. Even while being affordable it provided enough facilities and resources to learn. I didn't get a rejection from any other college. I didn't apply to any other college but i did give jee mains exam and couldn't get enough score to get a computer science branch. Admission process is simple, there is no particular eligibility criteria but maybe a good score in class 12th. Otherwise there is no particular difficulty.
Faculty
The faculty members have a lot of teachers and office members but obviously nothing compared to the amount of students in the whole college. The faculty are good with students but overall they are ok ok. They are approachable but it doesn't mean they will help you with what you want. I think Dr Kanika Khurana and Ms Prena kaushik are very good. They are linient and understand our problems. There are around 6-7 subjects per semester so around 30 exams each semester. Around 20-30% student fail to clear the exams.
Night Life
I don't really know much about night life since I'm not a hostel student but the rules are pretty strict at night so i don't think it is very great but they do allow going to the on campus gym as far as i know. Famous hangout places would be sector 14 market as it has way too many cafe's and in campus it would be the cafeteria. But the cafeteria isn't the best. The locality is ok ok. It is not yet fully build but it is safe to be around.
