Course Curriculum Overview

3

The specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the core subjects that they cover in-depth. Not only is the syllabus well-structured, but it is quite vast for you to explore. The curriculum provides a good balance of fundamentals and advanced studies. Apart from core engineering, one will find constitutional subjects, project management, human values, and others to prepare you for real-world. Areas of Improvement: Labs, faculty interactions, more on-hand industrial experience.

Internships Opportunities

2

From 2024, Google has started making offers for internships with a stipend of 1L/month. Also, Zomato Blinkit made an offer but did not select any students. PayTM made over 20 offers with a salary of 6L p.a.

Placement Experience

3

There is no specific criteria for placement eligibility. Companies do not offer internships in pre-final year, only if you are an upcoming graduate can you sit for the placements. Different companies have different criteria. Few of them were shortlisted based on resume, others on aptitude, and the rest based on CGPA. Companies like Google, Zomato Blinkit, HP, Paytm, and TCS did visit the campus. Except for TCS and Paytm, other companies made only 2-3 offers. On the other hand, TCS made 100+ offers (mainly for ninja profile) and PayTM made 20+ offers. In total, more than 50 companies have visited the campus and more than 200+ offers have been made. The highest package stood at 28 LPA while the lowest hit at 3.6 LPA. The average one can expect from this college is around 5-6 LPA. About 75% of students get placed, the rest 25% either opt for off-campus, higher studies, or PSUs.

Campus Life

3

In my four-year Journey, I got no chance to witness the college's official cultural fest. But the department fest was at-par. In the Library, you are not allowed to carry your laptops or personal books, and only subject related books are available in the library.

Admission

I received admission to MMM and IGDTUW in Delhi. Since this college offers a good ROI and is located in my hometown, it became a more accessible option for me. I did face rejections from various colleges due to a low percentile in JEE mains, but this college was worth it. One can easily get admission here if you have a percentile over 90 in JEE mains. No 99% criteria required. Only JEE Main is accepted for BTech. For MBA, CAT exam scores are required.

Faculty

2

As far as the FTR is concerned, there are almost 20+ faculty members for every 240 students in every department. The student relationship is quite ambiguous with the faculty. Few of them are supportive, the rest of them will test your patience. The pros include the fact that the faculty is quite approachable. The best Faculty there is the department of CSE. They not only allow you to take long leaves but also support you in Internships. About Examinations, the First year will be hectic, but the attendance policy is the game changer.

Night Life

2

There are no gyms or proper cafeterias in this college. There is only one small-canteen that one can see as soon as he/she enter. The canteen is opened for 24*7 but the libraries close sharply by 7 pm. There is no hostel timing for boys, but for girls the hostel timing is strictly 7 pm.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good here . Generally most of the comapnies that come here are for SDE roles but also many for consulting and DS roles . Students generally dont prefer the core roles so there are less companies visit for core jobs . Talking abt my course the highest package was 51 lakh by microsoft and the average was around 18 lakh . For the aollege highest package was around 1.6 cr. Around 1000 offers have been given for 252 profiles . In this 280 offers were PPO for final year student. Average CTC for whole college was 29.23 LPA. Around 80 percent of students get placed . Some people go for higher studies , some go for civil services .
