College review

I heard BCA course has scope so that was the reason why I opted this course. It prepares us pretty much well but not Fully prepared (7/10). They should provide more practicals than theory as we get very less theory, when the course is BCA u will obviously want labs to be more . The timing of exams is fine but it is very fast . The sem ends very fast.

I have not applied for any internships . We have project in final sem so we are working on it which is similar to internship. The project we are currently working on is ONLINE EVENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and it is yet to be finished.

From 5th sem the students become eligible for campus placement. The companies visited are accenture, infosys, They did have 1-2 offers. The highest package was 2 lakh per annum and the average package was 1lakh per annum (Accenture). 70% or students get placements. I plan on pursuing my master's.

In first year- 48000 In second year - 44750 In third year-42750 The extra class fees which they took in first year was 4000 which is considered as 48000. Registration fees was 200. For BCOM it was 80000 other i don't know. They provide scholarships like SSP and NSP.

The fests are held during odd sem. The fest are IT fest( composite, codesprint), Isiri, econovenza, brandomania. There are several books and journals in library, library has many beneficiaries. Within the classroom the facility is not soo good , the fans don't work that well and the cleaning of the classroom in not done properly. Sports and extra curricular activities are given importance. There are associations for which all the students have to join, students can join any association.

The main reason why I joined this college was NCC. I always wanted to join NCC and that was the main reason. As this college has a very good NCC troop. I dint really apply for any other colleges . The admission process is just simple. We have a small interview and then if they think it's good then they tell us to pay the fees . They also go through our PUC marks and then consider. There were no exams we just had an interview.

The faculty to student relationship is average. The faculties are approachable(8/10). The faculty whom I like is Vinaya ma'am, priya ma'am, swami sir , rashmi ma'am,achala ma'am, ashok sir. They all knew how students must be treated and what are things and ways a student must be taught. They are the best faculties. There is no faculty whom I hate. I just dont like that way some faculties teach. There are 2 internal exams and then sem exam and projects. The exams are not soooo difficult.Few students fail to clear exams(8/10). The course curriculum is very relevant no problem.

They just wanted to know the reason on why we wanted to opt that particular course and then they were telling about the course and wanted to make sure that we are ready for this course. We just had a small interview and then after their approval we had to pay the fees. I dint prepare for the round as there were no exams or anything like that.

Gym is really nice, for sports people gym is for 50 rupees and for non sports people it's 100. Canteen is good , the food is acceptable. Library is really good i liked it . The campus is really beautiful. I do not stay in hostel. Katte (peace park) is there inside our college. It is one the best place to hangout with friends. The locality is safe .
